Longueville en Trièves loop
A short but very pleasant walk in the heart of the Trièves basin. You will have beautiful panoramic views of the many peaks that surround it. A walk that is particularly accessible to families.

Himalayan footbridges of Monteynard without the boat
This walk is a variation on the classic tour of the Himalayan footbridges of Lake Monteynard, which does not require a boat trip (for a fee) to return to the starting point. In addition, this route takes you to the Pas du Berlioz (very beautiful view of the lake) and the Pont de Brion. It is hardly any longer than taking the boat, as you don't need to go all the way to the pier, which is quite far away. However, part of the route is a return trip.
Footbridge over the Drac from Mayres-Savel beach
A superb, quick walk to the Drac footbridge, along the north bank of the river of the same name, south of Lake Monteynard. Beautiful views of the lake and river, until you cross the Himalayan footbridge before returning.
Circuit around the Côte Rouge viewpoint
I suggest a new hike, perfect for a half-day, with a magnificent viewpoint at the summit of Côte Rouge.
Circuit via the Pas du Berlioz, the Brion Bridge and the Ébron footbridge
A short circuit to warm up your legs as soon as the good weather arrives. No particular difficulty and some beautiful views of the mountains surrounding the Trièves!
Grande Tête de l'Obiou
A magnificent hike on vertiginous trails in the Dévoluy Massif, offering splendid panoramic views of the surrounding mountains throughout the entire route. A real breath of fresh air.
Hikers beware: this route is for experienced hikers only and a helmet is mandatory. It is also advisable to only attempt this hike in good weather.
Circular from Col du Sénépy to Pierre Plantée
A beautiful hike with magnificent views of the Trièves and Dévoluy regions, on a sunny hillside, ideal for the off-season. The slopes are moderate but the atmosphere is mountainous. It is possible to climb to the summit of Sénépy along the way.
Himalayan footbridges of Monteynard
This is a hike that starts with a ferry crossing.
The objective is to take the two elegant bridges.
The first bridge crosses the Drac.
The second bridge crosses the Ebron.

The Samblue ridges via the Col des Faîsses
Visit to His Majesty the Obiou. From the Samblue ridges, there is a beautiful view of the Pellafol and Obiou plains.
Col des Faïsses - Loop via the Tête de la Garde
This route takes you through forest and undergrowth for a long time, protecting you from the heat and any wind, and leads you to the foot of the Obiou. The 1,500 metres before the pass are on a wide track, exposed to the sun.The path is obvious, marked in yellow at the start, then in yellow and red (GRP®). The markings help you avoid taking the wrong path or trail, of which there are many on this route.Cows and vultures await you at the pass. The small additional loop offers a panoramic view of the turquoise waters of Lac du Sautet and the Trièves region, with Lac de Monteynard. (However, you can limit yourself to a return trip to the pass, which is 300 metres less in altitude). Take the opportunity to admire the Défilé de la Souloise and the Paroi des Voutes. In the distance, the Pic de Bure shows off its characteristic silhouette.
Le Chauvet from the Col de l'Holme
This hike is not marked, but it is easy to follow and the 360° view from the summit is magnificent.

A pleasant walk, accessible to all, where you can take your children along, under supervision of course.The trickier sections are protected. A magnificent hike 35 km from Grenoble, with no difficulty, offering 360° views of the surrounding mountains.
The climb to this summit is a magnificent hike through the mountain pastures (one of the largest in the region).
Col de Menée - Mont Barral
Are you looking for fresh air and wide open spaces with breathtaking views of the Vercors mountain range and the Ecrins massif? This moderately difficult hike will give you the feeling of being high in the mountains.
Le Goutaroux from Trézanne
The tour of Mont Aiguille remains a classic, but to appreciate this "ocean liner", what could be better than gaining some height? The view is not only of Mont Aiguille, as from the summit of Goutaroux you have a 360° view: from Grenoble to Trièves, as far as Dévoluy on one side. From the Vercors ridges to the Chartreuse on the other side.
The Tour du Mont Aiguille
This superb ship, isolated from the main Vercors mountain range, remains docked and admired by all, especially its majestic bow, which dominates the villages of Trézanne and Richardière.
Côte Rouge circuit from the Col du Fau
This is a beautiful, easy walk offering panoramic views of the Trièves basin and the surrounding peaks.

The Prayet Pass
A short hike that takes you from the village of Chichilianne to the Col du Prayet, through pine and deciduous forests, under the watchful eye of Mont Aiguille, which accompanies you all the way.
Tête Chevalière via the Pas de l'Essaure
A beautiful route around Chichilianne, with stunning views, including a magnificent view of Mont Aiguille.
Note: Due to a long off-trail section, this route is not recommended for hikers who are not experienced in orienteering. It should also only be attempted in good weather.
The Lac du Lauzon
A magnificent walk, although the slopes are sometimes quite steep on both the ascent and descent. The landscapes and flora are remarkable.
Lac du Lauzon and Col de Charnier
Beautiful wild hike in the Jarjatte valley to Lac de Lauzon and the Col de Charnier for views to the south. Return via the Col des Aurias.
Têtes de Vallon Pierra and Lauzon via Lac du Lauzon
Starting from the legendary Jarjatte valley, this hike takes you to the rocky landscape of the Tête du Vallon Pierra via the Tête and Lac du Lauzon, nestled in its green setting, which is undergoing eutrophication. The landscapes criss-crossed by chamois and griffon vultures and the views are breathtaking.
A small part of the route is off-trail, but on obvious terrain, and the only real difficulty is the elevation gain of over 1,000 metres.
The Jajène Mountain
This hike, which is not particularly difficult, offers breathtaking views of the Dévoluy mountain range: the Grande Tête de l'Obiou, the Tête de l'Aupet, the Grand Ferrand, the Rocher Rond, the Roc and the Tête de Garnesier, with Bure in the background.
To the west, Toussière and Jocou, with the Trois Becs in the distance.
Further north, Le Rognon and the summit of L'Aup.
In the background, the Vercors mountain range.
And many other peaks that I'll leave you to guess.
Combeau Valley
A remarkable family walk in the southern part of the Hauts Plateaux du Vercors Nature Reserve.
Vast lawns on the plateau and views of the Trièves and Mont Aiguille, the foothills of the Oisans and the Dévoluy.

Vallon de Combau - Tête Chevalière, Vercors
A hike in Drôme and Isère, but starting from the Vercors drômois side.

During the months of May and June, the Vallon du Combau is must-visit destination, where you can enjoy the flora and fauna, particularly marmottes.
A relatively easy hike up to the Pas de l'Essaure pass, then a little more difficult.
Between Vercors and Trièves, Pointe Feuillette
This beautiful circuit, located on the border of the Drôme, Isère and Hautes-Alpes departments, covers the eastern part of the Lus-la-Croix-Haute area.
After a sub-horizontal crossing at the foot of the mountain, the trail climbs through the forest before ascending the mountain pastures to Pointe Feuillette. From passes to ridges, walkers are treated to exceptional panoramic views of the Alps.
The return route follows a wide ravine that leads to the Tranchemule stream and then to the Amayères Gorges.
Circular to Notre-Dame de la Salette
This magnificent circular, in the Beaumont and Valbonnais mountains, towards the sanctuary of Notre-Dame-de la Salette, offers breathtaking views of the Oisans massif, the Dévoluy, the Obiou la Matheysine and, further away, the Vercors massif.
La Pierre Percée from Pierre-Châtel
Follow the legend of the Pierre Percée (Pierced Rock) on this short circuit that will take you to one of the seven wonders of the Dauphiné.
Tour of the Jarjatte valley
A medium-altitude hike, first on a cool, wooded north-facing slope, then on a south-facing slope through pastures.Please note that the Buëch ford may be impassable if the water is too high.
Circuit from Pierre Percée to Lac de Pierre-Châtel
This circuit, which takes you twice through Pierre Percée, one of the seven wonders of the Dauphiné, allows you to enjoy the view of the mountains bordering the Matheysin plateau and takes you around Lake Pierre Chatel.
Valette loop via Fontagneux
A pleasant hike at the foot of the Piquet de Nantes and the Tabor, with beautiful views of the Obiou and the Grand Armet, passing through three lovely streams, then descending through the village of Fontagneux to change mountain ranges and walk at the foot of the Grand Armet, this time, and see the Tabor. The passage through old hamlets is also very pleasant for lovers of old stones.
The Col des Prêtres from the Col de Grimone
A pleasant and easy circular hike from the Col de Grimone (1,138 m). Views of the Drôme peaks.
In early summer, the circuit offers the chance to see many beautiful flowers.
This hike is accessible to people who are prone to vertigo, allowing them to enjoy hiking in the mountains.
Tour des Sucettes de Bornes
A beautiful hike around the Bellemotte mountain, first through the forest and then along a ridge offering spectacular views. The descent passes by the Sucettes de Bornes, an interesting geological curiosity.
Monteynard Dam and Château d'Ars circular
This hike takes you on a short detour into the Trieves region, where you will visit two remarkable sites: the Monteynard dam and the Château d'Ars. All this under the watchful eye of La Peyrouse and with a breathtaking view of Lake Notre-Dame de Commiers.
La Grésière loop via the Combe de Mayt
An easy loop starting from a village in Dévoluy, Le Courtil. This loop can be done in the other direction (which I prefer...), offering a beautiful view of the Pic de Bure.
Rif Bruyant lake
A very pleasant hike. First along the Rif Bruyant stream, through beech and then fir and larch forests, and finally in a high mountain setting in the middle of the Cirque du Coiro.
Well-marked trails make the elevation gain on this hike easier.
