Footbridge over the Drac from Mayres-Savel beach

Park in the car park (paying) at Savel beach.

(S/E) Walk along the road on the south side to the start of the trail.

(1) Go down the trail, then continue on the path and climb up to reach an interesting viewpoint.

(2) Enjoy the view, then continue along the path heading north-east until you reach the dry toilets.

(3) Descend to the right and walk gently until you reach the footbridge.

(4) Cross the footbridge and enjoy the view over the Drac. Reach the other bank.

(5) Return by the same route in the opposite direction to the Savel beach car park (S/E).

Parking: a free alternative is to park a little higher up to the east near the crossing point (2).
Dry toilets halfway along the route.
Partially shaded, but wear appropriate clothing as many sections are completely exposed
