Luant walks

The trail runs under the cool shade of Brenne's largest forest, then crosses flower-filled meadows dotted with buttons and ponds. This is an introductory walk through a land of scents that also displays an extraordinary palette of colours!

This is a pleasant route for hiking, running or mountain biking around the Étang de Berthommiers and Étang des Deux Frères lakes in the Châteauroux Forest.

The Bellebouche Pond is one of the oldest, largest and most beautiful bodies of water in the Brenne Regional Nature Park. A small part is reserved for water sports, but most of it is a natural site that you can admire at your leisure with binoculars from three observatories around the pond.

This lovely walk allows you to explore the surroundings of the village of Badecon-le-Pin, including some picturesque buildings, a superb view of the Pin loop formed by the Creuse river and the Roche-Bat-L'Aigue dam. This beautiful hike allows you to discover Lake Éguzon, the steep slopes of the Creuse Valley covered with moors where heather, gorse and broom bloom, and the steep cliffs of the Fileuse rock with breathtaking views of the confluence of the Creuse and Sédelle rivers and the Crozant fortress.The descent to Crozant follows the Sentier des Arts, a trail dotted with works carved into the local rock by five sculptors. Return via St-Jallet and the surrounding countryside.

This is a walking guide. The vast Étang de la Chaume lake conceals some little-known spots that this interpretive trail invites you to discover as you walk along part of the shore and wander through the surrounding woods and moors. Please be discreet towards the wildlife and fishermen, and wear good shoes in wet weather.
