Park in the church car park.

(S/E) Cross the square in front of the church, heading north-north-west, and follow the D129 towards Nuret-le-Ferron. Leave the village of Chasseneuil, passing the water tower and the houses of La Ritonne.
(1) At the bend, by the cross, leave the road and follow the dirt track leading down in front of you. Pass the sewage treatment plant. After crossing the Bouzanteuil, take the path on the left
(2) After 50m, take the path on the right and walk alongside the woods. Follow the main path, ignoring two turnings on the right and one on the left. Join the small road next to a pond.
(3) At the corner of the pond, turn left onto the road. At the next road and at the corner of Le Carroir, take the first turn left then right. Walk alongside a wood.
(4) After the woods, take the first dirt track on the right. Approach a road without joining it.
(5) Turn left onto the path that climbs, the Côte aux Ânes. The track makes two wide circular loops, running alongside the Bouzanteuil. Reach a junction.
(6) Then turn right to cross the Bouzanteuil. Next, take the first path on the left and follow the stream. You’ll come to the road, at the foot of the cross.
(7) Take the hairpin bend to the right and follow the path uphill. Cross the Route de l’Épinat to continue along the path opposite and reach the entrance to the Grande Chaume.
(8) Take the road on the left. At the cross, leave the road and take the grassy path on the left. Follow this path north-east. At the hamlet of Les Nadots, continue straight on until you reach the village of Chasseneuil and, on the left, the church car park (A/D).
