Here is a short, easy walk in the woods of Leernes and along the Sambre.

Around Thuin, a charming little fortified town, this short hike partly follows the Ravel 3 and Ravel line 109/2, passing through typical streets on the ramparts of Thuin and the magnificent Grand Bon Dieu woods.

Starting from Bazuel, this route invites you to escape along paths lined with nature, where the tranquillity of the Cambrésis plains is revealed step by step. Along the way, Ors reveals its discreet charm and green surroundings, offering a peaceful place to stop. The route continues towards Catillon-sur-Sambre, where water and rural panoramas blend together in a soothing atmosphere. Between country paths, bursts of greenery and authentic villages, this walk combines the pleasure of walking with the discovery of rural heritage. Starting from the dinosaur car park in Merbes-le-Château, the walk offers a loop through the Upper Sambre Valley, passing by the first two locks on the Belgian side and through the countryside overlooking the Hantes Valley.The route follows two pretty little sections of the tram line that once linked Binche to Montignies-Saint-Christophe.The architectural highlight of the route is the magnificent Château de Solre-sur-Sambre.

This 50 km bike ride offers a bucolic immersion along the banks of the Sambre, starting from Bachant. You will reach Leval, then Saint-Rémy-du-Nord, crossing peaceful and green landscapes. The route takes you to the port of Hautmont, perfect for a friendly break by the water. An ideal loop for combining relaxation, nature and local flora and fauna.

Set off on a 44 km bike ride to discover the varied landscapes of the Sambre Avesnois. This circuit takes you from Boussois to the superb site of Watissart, crosses Jeumont and crosses the Belgian border. You will then follow the Salmagne aerodrome before enjoying the peaceful calm of the towpath. An ideal getaway combining nature, industrial heritage and the pleasure of cycling.

A superb 45 km hike combining nature and heritage. You will pass from the banks of the Sambre to the green countryside of the Avesnois. Take a deep breath of fresh air among the flora and fauna and typical landscapes of the Avesnois!
