On the little paths of Landrecies, Maroilles and Le Favril

Departure point and car park: Clarke Barracks in Landrecies.

(S/E) Turn left onto Avenue de la Légion d'Honneur.

(1) After the Sambre Canal bridge, turn left onto Avenue Dumey and continue along Rue des Nerviens, turn right onto Rue de l'Inde Française, then straight on to Résidence du Bel Horizon, Avenue du 11 Novembre 1918.

(2) Turn right onto Avenue du 8 mai 1945 and continue straight ahead onto Avenue de France.
When you reach the main road, turn left onto Faubourg de France.

(3) Take the^first left onto Chemin du Préseau.

(4) At the fork, turn left onto Chemin de Bruneau. Be careful on the bends and keep to the right.
Continue straight on Chemin Dame Marguerite. Pass Ferme de Catillon and continue straight towards Moulin des Prés, crossing the Helpe Mineure river via the Pont de la Croix Robosse bridge.

(5) Continue straight ahead on Rue du Lieutenant.

(6) When you reach the centre of the village of Maroilles, turn right onto Grande Rue. Take the^second street on the left.

(7) Turn left onto Rue du Moulin and pass in front of the Maroilles mill. Continue straight ahead on Rue de la Basse and ignore the first path on the left.

(8) At the fork, turn left onto Chemin de Le Favril and follow the main road on the right.

(9) At the four-way intersection, take Chemin de Le Favril straight ahead.
You will arrive at the most difficult part of this road, which climbs uphill.
At the next four-way intersection, continue straight ahead on Rue de Briques and pass the Gros Chêne.

(10) Turn left at Croix Hainaut onto Rue Waterlin.

(11) At the T-junction, turn right onto the D964, pass the Grand Debout and continue straight ahead towards the centre of the village of Le Favril.

(12) After the church, turn right onto Route de Landrecies, D964.

(13) When you reach the main road (D959), turn left and follow Faubourg de France straight ahead until the^second street on the left.

(14) Turn left onto Rue de la Folie, then take^{the first} right onto Rue d'Avesnes. At the roundabout, take the^third right onto Boulevard Vauban and continue straight ahead.

(1) When you reach the main road, turn left, cross the Sambre and head for the Clarke Landrecies Barracks (S/E).
