Park on Rue Henri Barbusse – Marpent. The departure point is at No. 10 on the cycle route network.
(S/E) Take the towpath on the left, EV3V36. The Sambre is on your left. Go to No. 9 and continue on the towpath to No. 8 and Rue de la Feutrerie.
(1) Turn left and, at No. 7, turn right onto Rue Maurice Druart, EV3. Follow the towpath, then Rue des Mines for a short distance until you reach the bend.
(2) Take the towpath again on the right onto EV3 until you reach No. 40 and Rue d'Assevent.
(3) Turn left and cross the railway line.
(4) Continue straight ahead on Rue d'Assevent until you reach the roundabout.
(5) Take the third right onto Rue Jules Huart. Continue along Rue de la Mairie towards No. 6 and you will come to a fork before the latter.
(6) Turn right, pass number 6, continue straight ahead and cross the railway line to arrive at Rue des Viviers, at the corner of house number 23.
(7) Turn left onto Rue des Viviers, then Rue Augustin Delattre and join the roundabout at number 33.
(8) Take the second right onto Rue du Général de Gaulle and continue straight ahead until you reach No. 33.
(9) Turn left onto Rue Neuve, still on the EV3, and follow the bend to the left towards Résidence Nelson Mandela.
(10) Keep left to stay on the EV3, first on the road, then quickly on the path. Then follow Ruelle de la Digue, go past the bend and Rue de l'Industrie, parallel to the railway line. Continue to Rue Jean Jaurès.
(11) Continue straight ahead on EV3, with the eco-bike relay on your left, and continue straight ahead on Voie Verte de l'Avesnois. Cross Rue Ernest Lesaffre and continue to No. 32.
(12) Keep left on Rue du Lieutenant Boucly until you reach No. 31.
(13) Continue straight ahead, ignore a street on the left, then turn right and arrive at Rue Max Dormoy.
(14) Turn left, continue along Rue de Quiévelon and you will come to a three-way junction.
(15) Go straight ahead, take Route de Quiévelon, then Chemin de Ferrière-la-Petite. You will reach number 16 on Grande Rue.
(16) Turn left and then right onto Rue du Ruisseau. Pass the church on your left, then at the T-junction, turn right onto Chemin d'Aibes until you reach No. 35 and Chemin de Maubeuge - Chemin de Quiévelon in Maubeuge.
(17) Turn left towards No. 11, cross the railway line and Chemin de Quiévelon, and you will arrive at Rue de la Gare.
(18) Turn right, cross the Route Nationale Le Faubourg and continue straight ahead on Rue Fernand Buchet. Continue to the end.
(19) At the T-junction, turn left onto Rue Jean Jaurès and pass the Colleret church.
(20) Turn right onto Rue des Écoles and continue straight ahead until you reach the roundabout.
(21) Take the second right onto Rue Georges Clemenceau, ignore one street on the right, one on the left and another on the right, and you will arrive at a reverse Y junction.
(22) Turn right and take the first left towards house no. 95, Rue de Marpent. Ignore a road on the left and a path on the right. Leave a second path on the right, then continue along Chemin de Colleret until you reach a path on the right.
(23) Ignore two paths on the right and follow the road to number 95.
(24) Turn right onto Rue de Colleret and continue straight ahead until you reach the third road on the right.
(25) Turn right, then immediately left, and left again onto Rue de Lafayette. You will arrive at Rue Hector Desprit.
(26) Turn right and take the second left, Rue de Lockweiller-Krettnich. Cross the railway line and continue right until you reach No. 97.
(27) Turn right to follow the EV3 V363. Leave this road on the left, Rue Jean Jaurès, cross over the Sambre and turn right onto the towpath EV3 V363, pass No. 70 and you will come to a fork.
(28) Leave the towpath on the left, cross the railway line and follow the L108 towards RPN17. Turn right towards the car park, then left before keeping to the right. Cross Rue Libotte Mozin and follow the L108 towards No. 17. Cross Rue Albert1er and continue straight ahead. Cross Rue de Maubeuge and continue straight ahead on the Ravel, cross Rue des Viviers and follow it to the end.
(29) Turn left and, at the four-way intersection, turn right. Immediately turn right onto Rue du Bois Gilles, then left onto Ravel L-108. Continue straight ahead until you reach No. 17.
(30) Turn left onto the path, go straight ahead until you reach Rue de Clique Cy and, at the four-way intersection, turn left onto Rue de la Couture. At the oratory, turn right and continue until you reach the church of Grand-Reng.
(31) When you reach Place de la Résistance, turn right and then immediately left onto Rue du Monument and continue to No. 16
(32) Turn left towards No. 9, Rue Aimable Liénard, and you will reach a Y-junction.
(33) Turn right onto Route de Marpent à Lameries, cross Chemin de Jeumont and then Route de Feignies à Jeumont. Go under the motorway and follow the Bois du Fort de Boussois to arrive at Rue du Château.
(34) Turn right, then straight ahead and ignore the side roads until you reach the T-junction with Rue de la Vieille Église.
(35) Turn right, then immediately left onto Rue Moronval, then left and immediately right to rejoin the EV3 V363 towpath on the left. Continue and return to your starting point at No. 10 by following the route in reverse (S/E).
