Pissette Waterfall
Hike in a high mountain setting on a summer trail passing at the foot of a cliff where a majestic waterfall flows, with a magnificent panorama of the high peaks of the Écrins.
La Blanche via Lac de Puy Aillaud and the Belvédère des Trois Refuges viewpoint
This is a must-do hike in Vallouise, offering views of the Écrins, the Cerces and the Queyras, and in particular, thanks to its proximity, the Pelvoux, the Pic sans Nom and the Ailefroide.
Puy Aillaud loop passing under the Préron chairlift
A short loop starting from Puy-Aillaud will take you from larch forests to hay meadows and pastures, with views of Pelvoux and the Puy-Saint-Vincent valley as far as L'Argentière-la-Bessée.
Puy Aillaud loop via the Ravin du Goitreux
This is a short circular walk around Puy Aillaud, to be done when there is no snow, which will allow you to admire the paragliders taking off from one of the most famous spots in the valley. You will then pass through the shade of the forest as you cross the Ravin du Goitreux.
The Parchers from Vallouise
A very easy visit combining the traditional houses of Vallouise, grouped side by side, and those of Les Parchers, which are much more spread out.
Lac de l'Eychauda
In the Crête des Grangettes cirque, there is a particularly famous mountain lake at 2,514 metres, called the Eychauda.
Lac de l'Eychauda via the Pas de l'Âne and the Col des Grangettes
This route takes you to Lac de l'Eychauda, looping back via the pass of the same name, then Pas de l'Âne and finally Col des Grangettes. The view of the lake from Col des Grangettes is panoramic.
La Bosse de Clapouse
This early morning hike is a sure-fire way to see chamois. It is easy to access and well-equipped photographers will be able to take some beautiful shots. For everyone else, the views alone will be a feast for the eyes.
The only difficulty is getting up very early
Vallon du Sélé
A charming alpine valley leading to the Refuge du Sélé or the Refuge du Pelvoux. The trail is not difficult, with only a handrail in place below the refuge.
Tête de la Draye
Hike above Ailefroide with a beautiful panoramic view of the Vallouise valley, the small pass of Rascrouset, the Selé, the Pelvoux and the Glacier Blanc. Excellent viewpoint, especially of the Pelvoux.
The Rouchas tour
Circular loop to explore Combe de Narreyroux and the Canaux trail in Puy-Saint-Vincent.
It follows the 1800m discovery trail to the Pont de Narreyroux bridge, passing through the Combe, which is reminiscent of Switzerland. The return journey is along the botanical trail alongside the Canal Trail.
Col du Bal
A day's hike starting from the hamlet of Narreyroux near the resort of Puy-Saint-Vincent (30 minutes from Briançon).
A beautiful hike to Col de Bal, a feast for the eyes in the flower-filled month of June.
Return to the hamlet via the same trail.
The Col de la Pousterle
A cool hike starting from the village of Les Vigneaux. The Col de la Pousterle can be reached by many routes, but this one takes the "Via Novo", the GR®50. At the pass, there is a view overlooking the Vallée de la Vallouise, and you can even see the front of the Glacier Blanc.
