Well known to Grenoble residents, this hike offers superb views of all the surrounding mountains, including Chartreuse, Vercors, Grandes Rousses, Taillefer and Belledonne. Ascent of the Petit and Grand Taillefer, the first peaks of the Belledonne range, clearly visible from the city of Grenoble. The view from the summit is magnificent, taking in Mont Blanc, the peaks of the Écrins Massif (Barre des Écrins, Roc de la Muzelle, etc.) as well as the Aiguilles d'Arves to the east and the peaks of the Vercors and Dévoluy to the west.

A classic hike in the heart of Belledonne, ending at one of the great lakes of Belledonne, outside the Sept Laux. Round trip hike.

The start of the climb is very steep but rewarded by the view of the Sept Laux lakes and, at the top of the Pic de l'Agnelin, the Belle Étoile and the Cabottes on one side and Oisans and the Grandes Rousses on the other. From the point (1), there were no more traces, no more hikers, just pure bliss!

The Piquet de Nantes (2,215 m) and the Tabor (2,389 m) near La Mure in Isère are the two highest peaks in the Tabor massif and can be reached separately, but the route proposed here connects the two peaks via a trail that gives an almost high-mountain feel while being easy and very pleasant. It takes only an hour and offers a circuit with beautiful views of the Matheysine lakes and the surrounding mountains.

A good hike in the crystalline Belledonne massif, the Combe Madame refuge is not very high up, but it provides access to areas for experienced and hardy mountaineers. Water is everywhere, lakes are nearby, wildlife inhabits the vertiginous slopes and hikers are treated to breathtaking views.

In the heart of the Chartreuse mountains, the Col de Porte is a former family ski resort whose ski lifts are now closed. The paths are more or less well marked allowing you to enjoy the trails on cross-country skis or snowshoes. The proposed circuit climbs through forest, coming out on a crest and offers superb views over the entire Chartreuse mountain range.
