The Virgin of Alsace in Niederbruck
From the top of the rocky promontory of Eichstein, the Virgin of Alsace watches over Niederbruck and the Doller Valley. Access to the Virgin is only possible on foot via a medium-difficulty hiking trail.
The Croix de Fangasse in Arfons
A circular route on the plateau above Arfons via the Croix des Fangasses, the Croix de Montalric and the Montalric orientation table. Magnificent view over the entire Revelois and Puylaurentais plains as well as the Pyrenees.
GPS essential for this hike.
Old barns - Croix de Montalric
Semi-shaded route in the Montagne Noire, with beautiful views of the Revel and Puylaurens valley and the Pyrenees. Forest of fir, pine and beech trees, moors of ferns and ash trees. Little elevation gain.
Most of this hike follows unmarked paths, even if you come across some markings. Only take these into account when they are mentioned in the description.
Notre-Dame du Chêne route in Heimsbrunn
This forest route allows you to discover the Chapel of Notre-Dame du Chêne, the Steinbaechlein and hundred-year-old oak trees.
Croix du Bessou - Moulin de Vergougnac
A circular route through pine and deciduous forests. Passes in front of the Château de Grandsagne and the vast peatland of the same name. Very little elevation gain. Altitude between 850 and 950 m.

8-shaped route starting from Markstein
This route in the Hautes Vosges is not difficult and offers beautiful views of the surrounding valleys. There are four places to eat along the way.
Lesperon route
This route offers a wide variety of terrain, including streams, sunny stretches and shaded areas.
Bourriot–Bergonce via the station and the mill
This lovely, often shaded route combines two routes created by the Landes Regional Council.
This route, which can be done on foot, is a good option for beginners or families on hybrid or mountain bikes.
It follows old railway lines.
The church and chapel of Lugaut in Retjons
This route, starting from the renovated church in Retjons and passing through a forest of pine and other tree species, will take you to the Chapel of Lugaut, a listed historic monument, and along a pleasant path beside the Ribarrouy Stream.
Onesse-Laharie on the banks of the Coulin stream
A lovely walk through the woodland, amongst new pine plantations, and around the Ruisseau de Coulin. Organised by the Landes Departmental Council.

Around the volcano and Château de Craux
You will discover a magnificent view of the Hautes Cévennes Ardéchoises and the land of young volcanoes.
The Château de Craux is located in the commune of Genestelle, at an altitude of around 650 m. It is built on the crater of the volcano (neck). It stands in the middle of vast meadows, surrounded by a superb chestnut grove, and overlooks the Volane and Sandron valleys.
