Start at the Croix de Montalric crossroads on the D12, Dourgne-Arfons.
(S/E) Cross the road and head towards the Montalric orientation table.
(1) Turn right at the first path towards the orientation table: panoramic view of the plain, Dourgne, Sorèze, Puylaurens, Lempaut, Revel, the Pyrenees... Continue along the path that descends through the ferns until you come to a wider track, which you take to the left.
(2) Continue to the junction with a very wide forest track (elevation 678).
(3) Turn right and walk 100 metres to reach the Cabane de Trinquebise (marked Cab on the map), with a fireplace, table and benches, then return to the previous junction (elevation 678).
(3) Continue right to the next junction.
(4) Turn right and after about 250m, take the path on the left towards the chapel and the centuries-old beech tree.
(5) Then return to the previous crossroads.
(4) Go through the gate on the right towards "Granges Vieilles". After 400 metres, leave the path on the left and continue straight ahead. At the next fork, take the path on the left towards Granges Vieilles, which you will pass on the left. Shortly before reaching the main track, turn right to take a detour and enjoy a view of the Pyrenees in good weather. You will then rejoin the main track.
(6) Follow it to the right until you reach the starting car park (S/E).
