Circular following theGR® northwards, return inland and take a short detour to Pointe du Guilligui for its superb view of the port of Portsall.

This route will take you through the rolling countryside of Trébabu, rich in history with its manor houses and chapel. You will then reach Ilien Beach and return to Le Conquet by following the large Blancs Sablons Beach and then going around the Kermorvan peninsula and its lighthouse. You will finish by walking along the Ria du Conquet, a natural area rich in biodiversity and popular with birdwatchers.

The boat crossing between the ports of Porscav and Lanildut allows you to walk around Aber Ildut without having to retrace your steps. This route offers an extension to the south of the aber, following the coastal path to Porspaul and returning inland via Lampaul and Plouarzel, before rejoining Aber Ildut and completing the circuit to the port of Lanildut.

From station to station through the Forest of Saint-Germain-en-Laye with a short detour through the historic centre of the village of Mesnil-le-Roi. Arrival in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, capital of inland waterway transport.

A walk starting from the new town of Cergy will take you past the circular bends of the Oise, the Cergy leisure centre and its ponds, and the old villages of Vauréal, Jouy-le-Moutier and Neuville-sur-Oise in the Val d'Oise. You will arrive in the Yvelines at Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, the capital of inland waterway transport at the confluence of the Seine and the Oise.

After travelling through the countryside on hilly, shaded roads, full of flowers in spring, enjoying beautiful views of the sea and the Crozon peninsula, you will descend to the wild, authentic coastal path...

This walk takes us to Pointe de Corsen, the westernmost point of mainland France, allowing us to explore the coastal path and the countryside between Trézien and Porsmoguer.

This stage of the Queyras circuit can also form part of the Mont Viso circuit. For walkers travelling by train, a bus departs from Mont-Dauphin Guillestre station and serves the village of Abriès-Ristolas.

This route to the north of the Forest of Saint-Germain-en-Laye and near Conflans-Sainte-Honorine takes you to the Étang du Corra, a pond with rich biodiversity that is a popular spot for birdwatching. The Pavillon de la Muette is a neoclassical hunting lodge built at the request of Louis XV.

Stage 3 of the 5-day tour of the Rhuys peninsula, from Port-Navalo at the entrance to the Gulf of Morbihan to Saint-Gildas de Rhuys, takes you past the Crouesty marina, along the coast and its beautiful beaches, and on to the wealth of megalithic sites. A short trip inland will also take you to the ponds and marshlands—formerly salt marshes—which are particularly rich in biodiversity.

From headland to headland, you’ll explore the southern coast of the Gulf of Morbihan, enjoying views of Île aux Moines, Île d’Ars and the entrance to the gulf, amongst others, whilst passing through traditional villages and discovering the rich megalithic heritage.

Stage 4 of the 5-day tour of the Rhuys peninsula. This lovely walk will take you to the beautiful beaches of the southern coast of the Rhuys peninsula, with opportunities for a swim. Offshore, there are views of the islands of Houat, Hoedic and Belle Île, as well as the Quiberon peninsula. The Château de Suscinio, the estate of the Dukes of Brittany set in a natural area rich in biodiversity, is a must-see in Morbihan.

The first stage of the 5-day tour of the Rhuys Peninsula, this route will take you around part of the northern coast of the Rhuys Peninsula, featuring its châteaux, the Truscat saltworks, its megalithic sites and its oyster beds. You will pass through its small hamlets, which have retained their authentic character.

This Italian stage of the Mont Viso circuit presents no particular difficulties. You will discover its wild high valleys dotted with high-altitude lakes. You will cross a few scree slopes before reaching the Sella Quintino Refuge, near Lake Mont Viso.

This route, which takes you between the ocean and the small inland sea, will allow you to discover the many facets of the Gulf of Morbihan and all its riches. During your stopover in Port-Navalo, the nearby jetty offers you the chance to spend a day on the Île d’Ars. The Vannes community bus network also allows you to cover some sections of this route as day trips by taking the bus for the outward or return journey.

This short stage of the Mont Viso circuit is completely straightforward. To make the day more enjoyable, 500 m from the starting point, you can turn right for a return trip to the summit of Viso Mozzo at 3,019 m, offering a stunning view of the Po Valley, which has its source at Pian del Re, the end point of this stage

This stage of the Mount Viso circuit alternates between meadowland and rocky terrain. A hike without any particular difficulty, the round trip to Punta Sea Bianca can make for a pleasant addition to the day.

Choosing this short route will take you through some magnificent scenery. Lago Nero is well worth a visit. However, this route is technically challenging with steep scree slopes: best tackled in dry, fine weather.

This hike crosses the Ristolas-Mont Viso National Nature Reserve, where you can appreciate its rich biodiversity. Several viewing points offer stunning views of Mont Viso.

Stage of the 5-day tour of the Rhuys Peninsula. After walking along the coast, you’ll discover the countryside and wetlands around Sarzeau. Be sure to stop off at Suscinio Castle, the former estate of the Dukes of Brittany, which is situated in a natural area rich in biodiversity. This castle is a must-see in Morbihan.
