Logonna-Daoulas Peninsula around Moulin-Mer

This short circular walk allows you to explore the innermost part of Brest Harbour. On a calm day, the Anse du Bourg – with Landévennec on the Crozon Peninsula opposite – may remind you of a mid-mountain lake.

Description of the walk

Car park at the Moulin-Mer tidal mill.

Red and white markings

(S/E) From the tidal mill’s embankment, follow the GR® path south-westwards, overlooking the Anse du Bourg at the far end of the Brest harbour. Continue for about 1 km to the hamlet of Garrec-Ven.

(1) Leave the GR® by walking up the small road opposite to the junction and turn left at the crossroads.

(2) At the next crossroads, turn right towards the hamlet of Rumenguy.

(3) Immediately after the first junction in this hamlet, follow the GR® to the right, along a path that joins the D333 local road.

(4) Follow it carefully to the right, skirting the Étang du Moulin, until you reach the car park (S/E).

From the village of Logonna-Daoulas, take the D333 to Moulin Mer and park nearby.
