Departure from Cergy Saint-Christophe station.
(S) Exit the station via the south exit and follow Rue de l'Abondance straight ahead until you reach the semi-circular Place Hubert Renaud.

(1) Cross the square diagonally to the left and head down the main south-east-facing road. After the Parc des Impressionnistes, cross the Boulevard de l'Oise in two stages, continue straight ahead and go down the steps.
(2) At the first landing, turn left onto the Promenade du Val Maurois (former railway line). Pass two staircases on the left and another on the right, continuing straight on along the Chemin de la Côte des Pagnes until you reach the Allée du Belvédère.
(3) Follow this for a few dozen metres, then take the path down to the right to Rue de Vauréal. Turn right onto this for about 150 m, then turn left into Rue du Port de Cergy and head down to the house and Parc Gérard Philippe. A possible detour to the right allows you to admire the park.
(4) At Gérard Philippe’s house, turn left onto Chemin de la Voirie and walk for about 800 m.
(5) About twenty metres after the bend, turn right onto Rue Pierre Vogler and continue to the car park on the banks of the Oise near Port Cergy. Turn right to cross it and go over the bridge over the Oise to enter the leisure centre.

(6) Head towards the water sports centre, then continue along the banks of the lake until you reach the Oise, where you join the Voie des Sabliers.

(7) Turn right and follow the Oise to the red footbridge.
(8) Cross the footbridge and continue for about 150 m to the Route de Vauréal. Cross it and head diagonally left up to the Promenade du Val Maurois (former railway line),

(9) Follow it to the left and continue to Rue de Puiseux, after admiring the view from the viaduct.
(10) Cross Rue de Puiseux and continue straight ahead, then turn left onto Rue des Marais until you reach a roundabout. Go round it on the right and join a footpath.
(11) Turn right onto this path, which runs alongside Rue Nationale before veering off to descend towards the Oise.
(12) Turn right onto Rue des Prés and then left to follow the River Oise. Continue along Rue du Pré aux Moines, then turn right onto Chemin du Pont de Jouy and join Rue de Vauréal.
(13) Turn left, pass the Jouy-la-Fontaine wash house, then continue to the four-way junction. Turn left onto Chemin de la Ravine de Jouy to reach the Oise again. Then turn right, continue along the river and pass under the blue bridge.
(14) Immediately afterwards, leave the path by heading back up to the bridge and cross it to reach Neuville-sur-Oise. Pass the roundabout and continue straight on along the main street, which bends to the right towards the château, now a care home. Continue along this street until you reach the church.
(15) Turn right to go round it via Rue de Conflans. Once at the three-way junction, take the path on the right which leads down to the Oise. Once on the riverbank, turn left to follow it and reach the entrance to the sewage treatment plant.
(16) Turn right, then continue right onto Quai du Confluent. Go under the railway bridge and continue to the confluence of the Seine and the Oise.
(17) Navigate the bend and follow the Seine for about a hundred metres, then turn left to reach the Conflans-fin-d’Oise RER station (S/E).
