At the crossroads with the cross-country road, take the path opposite, then, at the fork at the corner of several fields, follow the path up to the right and reach a junction. Walk a few metres straight ahead, then turn left and join a road. Follow it to the right for a few metres.

There is scope to improve the route by cutting out a bit of the tarmac, particularly towards the end. To optimise or shorten the route, start from the car park at Bodonou Chapel.

Thank you for your comment. You’re right, the route must be very muddy at the moment, so it’s best to go when it’s dry. Jean-Pierre

A pleasant route with no difficulties. Do bear in mind, however, that some sections can get very muddy after rain. The yellow markings are sometimes missing, so follow the route map or the app. Don’t miss the detour to the hill just before point 9 for the view (there’s a picnic table there). The chapel is worth a look… In short, it’s a nice change from the seaside – well worth a try.
