Verosvres walks

On the GR®7 trail between the Col des Vaux, in the commune of Verosvres, and Chevagny-sur-Guye, passing by the Butte de Suin This is a very quiet section of the GR®7. There are no signposts at some junctions and no footprints in the tall grass to mark the route, so you must take an IGN map with you, although a GPS device is preferable. This section of the GR® needs to be more popular, as it is not difficult and offers beautiful scenery. The view from the Butte de Suin is magnificent.

There are many shaded sections in the forest and beautiful landscapes. The trail is sometimes unmarked, so bring an IGN map, but it is preferable to have a GPS device.

A pleasant walk offering beautiful landscapes and viewpoints, between forest and meadows bordered by low dry-stone walls. The steepness is very gradual on the first part of the walk, allowing you to reach the summit of Mont Saint-Romain without any particular difficulty. On the return journey, the slopes are steeper, but never unmanageable. A perfect walk for those who want a good outing but don't want to put too much strain on their legs.

A delightful stroll through boxwood and vineyards, with the added bonus of a splendid panoramic view from the top of the famous Roche de Solutré.The return journey, via the north, takes you off the official route and away from the tourist traffic.

This hike allows you to discover the upper Beaujolais region. The route is varied, passing through vineyards around the village and woods. It leads to the Rontécolon orientation table, the highest point of the route, and passes through the Col de la Sibérie, where there is a memorial to the martyrs of the Resistance.

This walk, with its slight incline, is ideal for stretching your legs if you've got a couple of hours to spare.

This 10km loop hike starts from Saint-Clément-sur-Guye, with the Carapone at its highest point (440m), and takes in the villages of Saint-Clément-sur-Guye (Romanesque church listed as a historic monument in 1927, a tower to the east of the church), Rains, commune of Joncy (pretty stone houses), Le Petit Ballay, its square tower, its 'Murgers' (piles of stones removed from the vines), before Corcelles (hamlet of Saint-Clément).

A lovely route along the paths of sunny Burgundy. Leaving Chaintré, we reach the crests of the mountains, with beautiful views of the Bois de Fée, Mont de Pouilly and La Grange du Bois.
