Notes

Montmelard picnic area, between (9) and (10), water tap on the left next to the grove of trees.

Water point at the Saint-Bonnet-des-Bruyères cemetery.

Between points (22) and (25), I followed the GR®7 route shown on the IGN D71 Saône et Loire map, 2024 edition, which does not pass through Villemartin.

Between points (29) and (31), it is preferable to continue on the small road, which avoids the ascents and descents.

There is a very cool water source at the Mont Saint-Rigaud fountain.

Worth a visit

Beautiful views of the Mont Saint-Rigaud tower.
