Butte de Suin, starting from Buffières

Description of the walk

Hiking car park, Rue du Bourg, towards the cemetery.

(S/E) With your back to the car park, head left towards the town hall and then Le Caruge to join theGR®76C. At the first junction signposted ‘Le Caruge’, leave the D41 and continue straight on along the path.

(1) At the junction with the sign for Le Caruge, turn left towards the Bois du Devant. On leaving the woods, turn left towards the Moulin Georges.

(2) Turn right towards the Bois de la Garde, crossing the Grande Rivière stream. Climb up to the edge of the Bois de Boulay.

(3) Turn left, continuing to follow theGR®76C, which curves to the left, and head uphill, staying on the edge of the woods, to the Haut de Boulay.

(4) At the first junction at La Croix de Vaux, cross the road and continue straight ahead. At the second junction, cross the road again, continue straight ahead and pass through the hamlet of Le Trapan.
