Start of the Col des Vaux in the commune of Verosvres, Route de Dompierre, on the bridge over the N76 E62. Parking is available at the end of the bridge towards Dompierre.
(E) Cross the bridge and continue towards Verosvres. Take the first small road on the right and join the Route de Verosvres.
(1) Cross it and continue straight ahead on the uphill track into the Bois la Verne du Loup and, at the Y-junction, turn left
(2) Join a small road (cross) and turn left and then right to follow a track (north-north-east).
(3) Cross a track and continue straight ahead. Further on, join a track and follow it as it continues.
(4) Cross the D17 and take the track furthest to the left.
(5) At the junction at Champ Colon, continue straight ahead on the small road.
(6) At the fork at Ecousserie du Haut Bois (cross), turn left onto a small road. Stay on this road until you reach the Suin cemetery.
(7) Turn right onto a small road going uphill. Join the Route de la Butte and follow it to the right. Pass in front of the town hall and arrive at the foot of the church.
(8) Then turn right onto a small road going uphill, pass the church entrance and follow the church on your left. Continue straight ahead to climb the hill, go to the statue of the Virgin Mary and the orientation table with a 360° view.
(9) Turn around and go back to the main road.
(8) Continue right towards the car park, pass a cross and you will come to a T-junction.
(10) Take the road downhill to the left.
(11) Join the D379 and follow it to the right. Ignore a road coming from the right (cross). Continue straight ahead (north) on the main road and ignore all turnings on the sides. Pass the place called Ripaine.
(12) Immediately after, take the first track on the right, Chemin de Chaumont.
(13) Cross a small road, follow the small road opposite for about 20 metres and turn left onto a grassy path. Go down to a small road.
(14) Follow this small road to the left. At the intersection at La Grande Borne, continue straight ahead.
(15) At the T-junction, turn left.
(16) At the T-junction of two small roads (Bredoux signpost), continue straight ahead on an uphill track. Walk north-west between the fields and then along the edge of the woods on your right, ignoring all the turnings on your right. Join a track, follow it to the right and immediately join the Croix des Hauts crossroads.
(17) Continue on the small road on the right. Go straight ahead to join the D7.
(18) Follow this road to the right. Ignore the first path on the left.
(19) Take the next path on the left and descend between the fields.
(20) At Mont de Mars, join a small road and follow it straight ahead. At the next intersection, go straight ahead.
(21) At the crossroads at Crose, continue straight ahead on a small road. At the next intersection, turn right and pass Novelle. Join the D27 and follow it to the left for about 100 metres.
(22) At the Croix du Châtelard, turn right onto a small path. You will soon reach a small road; follow it to the right.
(23) At Châtelard, at the end of the road, continue right onto a path. At the fork that appears shortly after, turn left. Follow the GR®7 (red and white markings) for a long time and ignore all the paths on the sides.
(24) At the T-junction, turn right and pass the hamlet of Les Perrots. At the next T-junction, take the small road on the right. Further on (elevation 280), ignore a small road on the right, cross a stream and you will soon reach an intersection.
(25) Then turn left and pass the place called Les Georges. At the next intersection, take the road on the left.
(26) At the next crossroads, continue straight ahead on a path. Go slightly downhill, cross a stream and go back up. At the crossroads, go straight ahead and cross a wooded area. Leave the woods, pass the place called La Garenne and immediately join the D983 (cross).
(27) Follow this road to the right and enter the village of Chevagny-sur-Guye. Pass the town hall and reach the war memorial next to the church (E).
