(1) Turn right onto the grassy path, heading slightly downhill to reach the junction with a track.

(2) Follow it to the right to reach the hamlet of Gemaugue. Walk through the hamlet and carry on until you reach the three-way junction.

(3) Turn left to reach the D14. Cross it carefully and continue straight ahead, skirting the vineyards, until you reach the junction with the private track leading to Château d’Uxelles.

(5) Turn left onto theGR® 76B, signposted in white and red. Walk past woods and vineyards until you reach the village of Ougy.

(6) Leave the village and take the road on the right towards Seugne. Cross the D981 with care, then continue due west on theGR® until you reach the Voie Verte (former railway line) near the Malay bridge.

(7) Leave it on your right and continue left along theGR® to reach the village of Malay.

(8) Turn left, cross the D207 and then the Voie Verte in turn, before reaching the village of Cortemblein. Walk through the village, turn right at a 90° angle onto Rue du 14 Juillet and reach a three-way junction not far from the footbridge over the Grosne.

(9) Leave theGR®, continue left along a wide path, turn left at the Moulin Neuf junction and rejoin the Voie Verte.

Hike on flat terrain, little undergrowth; beautiful views; varied southern Burgundy hamlets.
Route suitable for less experienced hikers with a reasonable level of fitness.
