Loop above Tallard via Ville Vieille, which was the old village.
Tour of Tallard Castle via Saint-Abdon Hill
This family walk crosses the hill of Saint-Abdon, on the northern edge of which Tallard Castle was built, following the ridge. Please note that some sections run alongside the cliff.
It offers magnificent views over the Durance valley, the Montagne de Céüse and the Pic de Bure. The return route takes you across the plain, on the Durance side, past orchards, vineyards and allotments.

Serre de Malamort
The Serre de Malamort ridge is a remarkable balcony offering superb views, particularly of Dévoluy, Les Écrins and the Durance valley. The route often passes through woodland, so you can enjoy the beautiful colours of autumn.

A varied hike visiting the villages of La Saulce, Lardier and Valença, crossing the vast forests of the Bois de la Pinée. The highlight is the view from Sainte-Croix, a true promontory overlooking the Durance valley.
Route of the Bournas de Jarjayes via Grand Bois
A varied route linking the meadows of Jarjayes to the dense forests of Grand Bois via Les Bournas. Along this circular route, there are numerous viewpoints overlooking the Gap basin, offering a succession of panoramas that make you want to stop and admire the landscape. Part of the route runs through the forest, providing welcome shade on summer days.

An easy walk starting from Lake Pelleautier, with stunning views over the Gap region and the surrounding mountains.
Below the Corniche de Céüse and Lake Pelleautier
Starting from Lake Pelleautier, enjoy a pleasant hike at the foot of Montagne de Céüse along the long forest road dominated by cliffs and offering superb panoramic views.
From Col du Tourrond to Notre-Dame du Laus
A circular path in the forest above the sanctuary of Notre-Dame du Laus offers numerous views of the Avance Valley, Notre-Dame du Laus, Céüze, Bure, Charance, Gleize and the peaks of Champsaur, all the way to Mont Guillaume. No particular difficulty.
The Puy Cervier tour
From the Col du Tourrond, this short walk in the forest offers few views but plenty of peace and quiet. It can be supplemented by one or two routes (see § Practical information).
Saint-Maurice Chapel and viewpoint from Remollon
A stunning viewpoint overlooking the Durance and all the iconic peaks and mountain ranges in the surrounding area (Ceüze, Bure, Ecrins, Morgon, Ubaye, Monges...). A route through deciduous woodland, which lets the sun through in early spring and provides shade in summer.
From the Viaduc de la Selle to the summit of Pic Ponçon
A short circular route near the centre of Gap, passing by the impressive Viaduc de la Selle (55 m high and 200 m long), an engineering structure on the railway line between Briançon and Veynes, then by the Aurouze family oratory on the small mountain of Pic Ponçon. This viewpoint offers a beautiful panorama of the Gap mountains and beyond: Céüze, Bure, Charance, Chaillol, Le Sirac, Les Autanes, Chabrières, as far as Morgon and the Alpes de Haute-Provence.
Céüze via the Pas du Loup
This loop runs along much of the foot of the Céüze cliff, then reaches the summit via the Pas du Loup before descending along the ridges.
Céüsette (or Petite Céüse) from Les Guérins via the GRP®
Just a stone’s throw from the Montagne de Céüse and its famous limestone cliffs, the Petite Céüse offers a magnificent view of the cliff, the Gap basin and the peaks of the Écrins.

Tête de la Plane and Dent de Gigors
The walk takes you through a beech forest, and the highest point of this hike above Gigors, the Tête de la Plane, is the reward for a pleasant but steep climb. The view over the Turriers plain is superb and is complemented by an orientation table describing the surrounding peaks.
Loop between Treschâtel and Rambaud via the Bellevue farm
An unpretentious loop in the Gapençais region, starting from the hamlet of Treschâtel and passing through the village of Rambaud, along footpaths, tracks and small roads. Not a very shaded route, ideal for a short walk during the cold season.
Les Chanderettes
Very pretty summit with a 360° view. From Mont Ventoux to the Écrins and from Dévoluy to the Monges massif.
The route is varied, with very little tarmac, forest tracks and trails.
The climb is very pleasant among the oak and box trees.
The statue of the Angel and the Pas du Lièvre at Notre-Dame du Laus
A circular loop starting from Notre-Dame du Laus, which begins with a Way of the Cross leading up to the statue of the Angel. Offering beautiful views of the Avance Valley, the sanctuary and the surrounding peaks, the route includes a few passages that are sometimes too steep for young children.
La Bâtie Vieille via Bois Vescal to Rambaud
A route partly through woodland, allowing you to discover two charming villages and offering a beautiful panorama of the Gapençais and Champsaur peaks.
The Bois Vescal de Rambaud
A lovely, fairly easy and not very long family walk. Part of the route is through woodland and along paths in the fields, but it offers beautiful views of the Gapençais and Champsaur peaks.
The Tour de la Montagne de Ceüse
A remarkable circuit on the Ceüse mountain.
The ridges of Céüse West: La Manche – Crête de Lumineuse – Crête de Raux
A route starting from the old ski resort, taking in the ridges of the Céüse mountain via its western slope. From the Sapie valley, this route leads to the La Manche ridge, which you follow to the Crête de Lumineuse. The hike continues via the two summits of the Crête de Raux, offering a remarkable panorama of the surrounding peaks, before descending back to the starting point.
The flat section of the Drac Canal
A pleasant little walk above Gap, between the pine and oak forest, then along the Drac Canal. Without any difficulty, it offers a beautiful view of Céüse and the mountains south of Gap, including the Lure mountain.
Tour of the Corréo lake
A short walk above Gap, around the lake in the hamlet of Corréo (a water reserve for the Gap Canal, which is used for irrigation). This route offers pleasant scenery at the foot of the Charance and Céüse mountains.
The Pic de Crigne and Crêtes de la Selle route
Magnificent viewpoint above the Val de Durance with a 360° view from the summit.
La Tête de Boursier
Hike above Claret, on the border between the Alpes de Provence and the Hautes-Alpes.

La Roche-des-Arnauds: the Bishops' circuit
The Circuit des Évêques (named after a place you will pass near) is a very popular route in La Roche-des-Arnauds. It will allow you to discover the cable bridge and the Corréo plateau with interesting views of the Tête de Clappe, the Pic de Bure and the Pic de Ceüze.
This circuit is also selected as a mountain bike circuit.
