Survilliers walks

A walk from station to station, through fields, woods and villages in the Goële plain. The route is punctuated by numerous crossings of the River Biberonne, a few ponds and some beautiful churches.

On either side of the Ysieux valley, from sun to shade, from fields to villages.

One abbey, two castles, two churches, one river, one lake, three rural villages and the Forest of Coye. In 1140 , Ascelin, known as "the Hermit", lord of Marly-la-Ville , left his castle in Marly and retired to this then inhospitable place (locum horroris et vaste solituninis) called Herremivallis, the hermit's valley. He already owned part of the land, and the Counts of Beaumont and Clermont willingly ceded the rest to him. Joined by other companions, they cleared the land located in a wooded depression forming a valley through which several springs flowed, and founded the Abbey of Hérivaux.

A hike alternating between countryside, forest and villages. The route passes in front of Hérivaux Castle, the abbey and the remains of an old 13th-century mill (a marker indicates the location of the mill). Cross the village of Bellefontaine with the banks of the Ysieux and the lake.

A very pleasant hike in a forest area consisting mainly of coppice woodland, which is ideal for game. Encounters with large animals such as wild boar, roe deer, does and stags are therefore quite frequent. Don't hesitate to take your camera with you.

This hike around the Commelles ponds and the town of Lamorlaye begins south of the Chantilly Forest. It then crosses the residential area of Le Lys, continues through the Coye Forest and ends on the botanical trail along the ponds. A circular walk starting from the Château de la Reine Blanche and the Étangs de Comelles in the Chantilly Forest, passing through Mongresin (Orry-la-Ville) and the barn of the former Comelle Abbey . The Château de la Reine Blanche and the Étangs de Comelles are among the most remarkable sites in the Chantilly Forest.

A circular route which, on the outward leg, follows the GR 1 from the Château de la Reine Blanche along the banks of the Étangs de Comelles to the Butte aux Gens d’Armes. Largely situated in the Forêts de Chantilly and Pontarmé, the GR 1 follows the Thève Valley for much of the way. On the return leg, the walk passes by Orry-la-Ville-Coye-la-Forêt station.

Located almost entirely in the Ermenonville National Forest, the hike follows theGR®1 trailto the Butte aux Gens d'Armes on the way there. On the way back, the route passes close to the "La Mer de Sable" amusement park and the Royal Abbey of Chaalis. At the end of the hike, you can explore Ermenonville.

A very varied walk north-east of Luzarches: peaceful valleys, beautiful trees in the Forest of Coye and the remains of the former Abbey of Hérivaux, where B. Constant lived (after largely destroying it...) The walk mainly follows marked paths (PR® at the start, thenGR®1andGR® 655). Very peaceful despite the proximity of Paris.

Hike in the Pontarmé woods to discover the beech, hornbeam and oak forests, as well as the beginning of a sea of sand. After this hike, you can explore Senlis, a historic town.

Eleventh stage of the Grand Tour of Île-de-France via the GR®11, connecting Chantilly-Gouvieux station to the village of Borest, reached by crossing the Chantilly estate, the Chantilly and Ermenonville forests, with a detour through the historic centre of Senlis and, optionally, a moment of reflection in front of the memorial to the victims of the March 1974 plane crash. The route follows, more or less closely, the Nonette River, which is crossed several times. The route for this stage is almost entirely in the forest, with little elevation gain, making it a very pleasant hike, and the crossings of Chantilly and Senlis add a rich touch of heritage. This stage requires an overnight stay to avoid laborious car manoeuvres. It is therefore the first of two consecutive stages, both entirely within the Oise department, between the Chantilly-Gouvieux and Crépy-en-Valois railway stations.

Chantilly is the largest racehorse training centre in Europe. The forest is criss-crossed by numerous galloping tracks that are usable all year round thanks to the quality of the sand. During this walk, you can appreciate the importance of this activity in the forest itself and in the plain bordering its northern edge. Beautiful views of the château, the Grandes Écuries and the Canal Saint-Jean add to the charm of the circuit.

This route is mainly through woodland, allowing you to explore the woods and golf courses around Chantilly and offering beautiful views of the Château de Chantilly estate.

Located mainly in the Oise Valley, this hike crosses the Bois de la Coharde forest at the end of the route. It allows you to discover a troglodyte village in Gouvieux and offers beautiful views of the Oise, Chantilly, Saint-Leu-d'Esserent and Saint-Maximin.
