Saint-Rustice walks

Starting from the village of Saint-Rustice, you cross the magnificent Pompignan communal wood and join the greenway along the Garonne side canal. Be careful at the start as there is a short steep slope!

Founded in 1290 on the initiative of Eustache de Beaumarchais, Seneschal of the King of France and Prior of the Cistercian Abbey of Grandselve, the town of Grenade was built in a grid pattern, with a market hall and church. It prospered as the population cleared the surrounding wooded areas. Often pillaged during the Hundred Years' War and the Wars of Religion, calm and prosperity returned under Henry IV. In 1790, Grenade became the capital of the canton of Haute-Garonne.

This hike in the heart of the Fronton vineyards allows you to admire magnificent vineyard landscapes. Upon arrival at the Maison des Vins et du Tourisme, you can enjoy a glass of Négrette wine!This route is dotted with portraits of unusual and quirky winegrowers, offering you a different perspective on the Fronton vineyards.

A short, brisk walk in the heart of the village of Bouloc. You will pass through remarkable woodland before climbing the Chemin de la Groule towards the sports complex, which includes a fitness trail through the forest.

A route for walking, jogging or mountain biking. The route takes you through the Bouloc countryside, crossing woods and skirting fields and vineyards.

From the village of Bouloc, enjoy a short hike or jog. The walk takes you along country lanes and through woods. You will also pass through the village of Villeneuve-lès-Bouloc to the south of the route.

A walk through the woods and vineyards of the Fronton AOP. The hike passes two iconic châteaux of the appellation: Château Caze (with its 18th-century wine storehouse) and Château la Colombière. Depending on the season, you may also see two protected flowers: the French rose (Rosa Gallica) and the rare Serapias Cordiagera orchid.

Along the trail, you will follow rural paths and discover remarkable landscapes, cultivated plains and shady valleys. You will have an unobstructed view of the Girou plain and the hillsides. You will be accompanied by numerous butterflies, and the diverse wildlife and flora along the trail will brighten up your hike, including a private park populated by deer.

A country walk through the fields and woods around Cépet (31 ). There are a few short stretches on roads open to traffic, but this does not detract from the charm of this walk on the outskirts of Toulouse.

On the west bank of the Save, a passageway through the Pyrenees, marked by evidence of ancient occupation: carved and polished stones, jewellery, coins from the Gallo-Roman period. In the 12th century, Larra became an agricultural estate owned by the Cistercian abbey of Grandselve. The fairs in Grenade allowed the farmers of Larra to sell their produce. The Avocat dairy farm produced wine that rivalled the best vintages of Fronton. In 1955, Larra became an independent commune.
