Park on the Esplanade de Verdun in Bouloc.
(S/E) North of the esplanade, turn left and carefully cross Rue Jean Jaurès (Route de Fronton). Continue straight ahead and, at the first roundabout, turn right towards the cemetery.
(1) Turn right to take the pedestrian crossing, then continue straight ahead towards Castelnau-d'Estrètefonds on Chemin du Moulin à Vent. A pedestrian area on the right leads to the water tower.
(2) Turn right onto Chemin des Bousquets and continue down the hill. A forest path starts on the left: follow it for a few metres.
(3) Turn right onto Chemin de Peyranet, a dirt track that goes uphill. Follow this track heading north, ignoring the tracks on either side. You will reach the edge of the woods.
(4) Make a right turn, then a left turn and walk along the edge of the woods. Leave the woods and turn right 200 metres further on. Cross a ditch and join the tarmac road to the hamlet of Les Petites.
(5) Cross and follow Chemin de Montégut (a forest path) opposite. Further on, you will come to another dirt track. Continue opposite and walk alongside a vineyard on your right, then continue on the path straight ahead. You will come to a dirt track and arrive at the pond.
(6) Take the path to the right, walk along the pond for about 50 metres and enter the woods. After a few metres, take the path that branches off to the left and goes around the property. This leads to a wider path; take it to the left and you will arrive at a field. The path branches off to the right at the edge of the woods, then turns sharply to the right to enter the woods. Once you reach the corner of the woods, take the path to the right and join the D4 (Fronton road).
(7) Cross with caution. Opposite, take Chemin de la Boujague (dirt track), walk alongside a vineyard and continue to the D63 (Villaudric road).
(8) Head straight ahead, slightly to the left, onto Chemin de Léret. Keep going in the same direction.
(9) At the end of the path, cross the road and take the path directly opposite. It passes over the ditch and turns sharply to the right. A few metres further on, it turns sharply to the left and leads into the woods.
(10) Walk along the right-hand side of a field of solar panels. Follow the path which, after a straight stretch, enters some broom bushes and joins the forest path at an angle (to the right). This leads to Chemin de Traouquet.
(11) Take this dirt track to the houses. Beyond that, the track is tarmac and joins Chemin de Peyrot.
(12) Turn right, finish climbing the hill and continue to the first path on the left (Chemin de Fontaynes). Turn left and go down this path to reach the junction with the D30 at La Nauze.
(13) Follow this road to the right, taking the footpath that leads to the centre of the village of Bouloc.
At the end, turn left onto Route de la Tuilerie to reach the town centre and the Verdun esplanade car park (S/E).
