Start from the Place Bordes car park in Villaudric.
(S/E) Leave the car park on the post office side and turn right onto Rue de l’Ausonnelle for approximately 250 metres
(1) Turn left into the street between Nos. 45 and 47 on Chemin de Courdis and, at thefirst bend, continue straight on along the path under the trees, following the fence to reach a housing estate.
(2) Carry on straight ahead and take thefirst street on the left to reach a footpath on the right. Follow this path and, at the end, head down onto Route de Gourdis.
(3) Turn left and walk for about 50 metres, then take thefirstright onto Route de Bordeneuve. Pass the hamlet of Bordeneuve and, at the Fork in the road, take the left-hand path and follow it straight on until you reach a junction.
(4) At the junction, turn left, cross the ford at the Ruisseau de Saint-Jean and rejoin the road (D 63).
(5) Follow this road to the left, then turn immediately right onto Chemin de Leret. Further on, take Chemin d’Albaret on the left. After about 500 metres, the path turns left towards the woods (hunters’ hut). Follow it to the road.
(6) Do not take the road but, just before you reach it, take the track that continues straight on. Turn left then right, cross the footbridge and follow the stream to the left until you reach a field. Continue across the field until you reach the Route du Château La Colombière.
(7) Head down to the left for a few metres until you reach the Route de Vacquiers (D63d) and turn right onto this road.
After about 200 m, head down to the left onto the Chemin des Brouillous and, at the end, turn left then immediately right to reach and cross the Ruisseau de l’Orbi.
(8) Take the path on the right just after the ford and follow it for a long way through the woods, keeping more or less close to the stream, until you reach the Route de Tire Grave.
(9) Cross the road and continue along the path opposite. At thefirst bend, carry on straight ahead and, after about 500 m, at the end of the path, turn left then right to reach the Ruisseau de l’Aigue.
(10) Do not cross the stream but follow it along the path running alongside it to the left until you reach the Route de Villematier (D14b), then follow it to the right to cross the bridge.
(11) At the bend after the bridge, take the path on the left which leads into the woods. Walk along the left-hand side of the disused route and follow the path until you emerge from the woods onto the Chemin de Petusou.
(12) Take the road to the left and, after about 300 m, turn into thefirst track on the right which leads into the woods and follow it straight on.
(13) At the foot of the climb towards thefirst houses, continue along the path to the right which leads into the woods. Go round the field (abandoned vineyards) and, at the end of the path, head down to the right onto the gravel track.
(14) When you arrive opposite the sewage treatment works, continue to the left along Chemin de la Bourdette and join the Route de la Matte. Follow it to the right, reach the village of Villaudric and your starting point to the left at the top of the hill at the Place Bordes car park in Villaudric (S/E).
