From Saint-Pantaléon to Monriquet: a stroll through Saint-Sauveur

Starting point: Saint-Pantaléon Church.

(S/E) Walk up the square alongside Saint-Pantaléon Church and turn into the cul-de-sac. At the end, take the grassy path and walk past the stadium. Cross Rue des Sports and head left up to the D4, Route de Toulouse.

(1) Turn right onto the footpath until you reach the bus shelter. Cross the D4 (take care) and turn left onto Chemin de la Mule. Then turn right onto Chemin des Bois, which gradually becomes more rural.

(2) At the end of the path, turn right to cross the D4 again, then follow it to the left to enter the village of Bruguières. Take the first road on the right, go past the cemetery and continue straight on.

(3) Pass the motocross track below on the left and continue along the footpath (Chemin de Casselèbre) which climbs up to Saint-Sauveur. At the roundabout, continue straight on along Chemin de la Castellane until the first junction.

(4) Turn left onto Chemin du Moulin. At the end, turn right onto Chemin du Bougeng and continue straight on until the T-junction.

(5) Take the footpath opposite, which leads to the Town Hall park at a place called Monriquet, then turn left onto the Allées d’Orzalis to reach the park (panoramic viewpoint).

(6) Retrace your steps and turn left to reach Rue Cave. Follow this street to the right, pass the square and return to the church (S/E).

Take care at the two crossings of the D4, Route de Toulouse.
