A ride through the Frontonnais

Start at the Maison des Vins et du Tourisme, Allée du Château.

Signposting: Circular Loop No. 11 – Blue

(S/E) Head to the D29 roundabout.

(1) Turn right onto Avenue de Villaudric, towards Montauban. At the next junction, turn left onto the D71A, Rue du 19 mars 1962, towards Toulouse.

(2) At the roundabout, continue downhill along Rue de la Côte Saint-Roch. Carry on along Avenue du Stade, then along Chemin de Cotité, and continue through the vineyards. Pass under the motorway bridge and reach a three-way junction at No. 1358.

(3) Turn left onto Chemin du Devès and follow it to the end.

(4) Continue left onto the D77, Route de Saint-Rustice, then, at the roundabout, head straight on towards Bouloc. Pass a residential area on your right and arrive at a junction in the right-hand bend of the D77.

(5) Leave the D77 and turn left onto Chemin de Flotis. Continue to the junction with Route de Villaudric, at the entrance to Garbustet.

(6) Carry on to the right until you reach a roundabout.

(7) Head straight on, onto Route de Groussac.

(8) At the three-way junction, keep left onto Chemin de Groussac. At the stop sign, continue straight on until you reach Avenue de Valaudric.

(9) Follow it to the left, pass the school, and arrive at the roundabout you passed at the start.

(1) Turn right and you will soon reach the Maison des Vins et du Tourisme (S/E).

Access to the Frontonnais motorway service area by bike: turn left just before passing under the motorway (fast food and toilets).
You can extend this route by taking "Between the canal and the Frontonnais hills" and "Cycling through the vineyards".
