Departure: school car park on Rue Jean de La Fontaine.
(S/E) Walk up Rue Jean de La Fontaine and take the grassy path opposite to reach the Route de la Moissagaise.
(1) Turn left and follow this road. At the intersection, turn right onto Chemin de Figarol. Continue for about 500 metres, then turn left onto Chemin du Rieu Tort.
(2) After 200 metres, turn right into the Pompignan communal wood and cross it.
(3) At the edge of the woods, continue straight downhill for about 100 metres until you reach the crossroads (before the "Give Way" sign). Turn left onto the road and take the no-entry lane to pass in front of the school. After 110 metres, on the right, go down the small staircase leading to the village. At the bottom of the stairs, turn left. Pass in front of the wash house and the Château de Pompignan (private property). Follow Avenue J-J Lefranc de Pompignan to the D820.
(4) At the intersection, turn left and continue to the crossroads signposted Véloroute des Deux Mers. Turn right, cross the bridge over the canal and join the left bank of the canal. Turn right again onto the greenway to the Écluse d'Embalens.
(5) Cross the bridge and follow the Chemin d'En Caulet. Cross the D820, Route de Paris, to reach the Allée des Amandiers opposite. At the intersection, turn left to head back towards the centre of the village.
(6) Pass in front of the church and after 100 metres turn right onto Rue de Marignan. At the bend, turn right to join Chemin de Moun Pais. Back on the road, descend to the right to return to the starting point (S/E).
