Parking opposite the town hall.
(S/E) Opposite the town hall, turn left and go down the steps behind you. The path below runs alongside Avenue de Toulouse for a few metres, then takes a footbridge and the footpath, which you should follow to the left and up.
(1) When you reach the tarmac road, take Rue du Coustela opposite, which goes uphill. Follow the ridge of the hill and enjoy a magnificent view of the northern Toulouse countryside. At the end of the street, turn left onto Chemin de la Serre and continue for about 30 metres.
(2) Continue left onto Chemin de Rénery. It is paved at the beginning and leads to a roundabout. Go around it on the left and continue straight ahead on Route de Labastide St-Sernin. Keep to the left, as there is no shoulder. Follow the road for about 500 metres.
(3) When you reach a bend in the road to the right, stay on the left and continue straight ahead on a grassy path. It joins Rue de la Bourdette, which you follow straight ahead. Join a dirt track that leads to a wood.
Start on the right-hand side and immediately follow the path on the edge of the wood that starts on the left.
(4) After about 50 metres, you will enter the woods. After a few metres, follow the path that branches off to the left and leads to a wire fence. Take the path on the left that winds its way close to this fence (5 or 6 metres).
(5) When you reach the corner of the fence, continue straight ahead and descend a large, wide ditch, which is now dry, cross it and climb back up on the other side. This passage is a little tricky; you can avoid it by going around it on the right. The path winds through the woods. Then the woods thin out, the path turns to the right and leaves the woods. Follow the path to the right, which runs alongside a field. After the first house, take the cul-de-sac on the right and follow it to the junction with Route des Maurys.
(6) Turn left towards the village of Gratentour. On your left are the sports fields. Pass the junction that leads to the fields and turn right onto the footpath that goes around the Collège Claude Cornac. After the college, go straight ahead and follow the path that runs alongside Avenue de Villemur and leads to the village centre. Pass the church and follow the path opposite, which leads back to the town hall (S/E).
