Chémerette to La Bazouge-de-Chémeré walking route
This circular walk will take you through the Mayenne countryside. You’ll need to cross the Ruisseau de Chémerette,
which gives the route its name, will be necessary to fully enjoy the walk. Don’t panic, it
’s rarely got any water in it!
Route de La Croix de Pierre – Préaux / Ballée Route Ballée and Préaux
This route will allow you to discover the Mayenne countryside and its landscapes. Don’t miss the Croix des Chouans, a 3-metre-high monument erected in the 19th century and featuring a medieval cross. Finally, once the walk is over, don’t forget to take a look at the River Erve and the pretty houses lining its banks.
Route de Ballée in Chémeré-le-Roi
Set off through the Mayenne countryside to discover the ruins of old lime kilns and the superbThévalles mill, nestled in the Erve valley. From the Ballée bridge, a lovely view of the old mills. A journey back in time awaits you in Chémeré-le-Roi as you wander through the narrow streets with their richarchitectural heritage.
Route from the Oratory starting from Saulges
Following the marked trails, you will cross the Petite Cité de Caractère (Small Town of Character) of Saulges and enter the limestone walls of a superb canyon.
Route de Bordeaux in Grez-en-Bouère and Bouère
This hike will allow you to discover the countryside between Grez-en-Bouère and Bouère. You will pass
close to the Taude river and will also be able to see a few châteaux. In Bouère, don't miss
the lovely views of the quarries.
Saint-Pierre-sur-Erve walking route
This 7.6km route is primarily aimed at walkers who want to take the time to discover the richness of our heritage.
Route de La Valette in Villiers-Charlemagne
The route to the north-west of Villiers-Charlemagne is characterised by water, with sections running alongside the village’s ponds
in the village as well as the River Mayenne. You’ll also catch sight of some beautiful castles.
Route of the three towns around Thorigné-en-Charnie
Here you will discover the rich heritage of the Coëvrons: chapels, churches, lime kilns and mills. This route will also reveal the beauty of our landscapes through the steep-sided paths, caves and Saulges canyon. You will also spot the unflappable aurochs!
Route du Tambour in Saint-Brice
This lovely walk will take you through the countryside of southern Mayenne and the small villages of
Saint-Brice and Les Agêts, with their rich industrial heritage (brickworks and lime kilns). You can extend
your walk to the Bellebranche forest or head to Bouère and its many attractions.

A route combining the tranquillity of the towpath with the energy of the town.Let yourself be carried away by the tranquillity of the towpath along the Mayenne River, then head to the town of Château-Gontier-sur-Mayenne to discover its charm, nestled between nature and heritage.
Château-Gontier Viaduct route on the Mayenne
This circular route will take you to discover the Château-Gontier Viaduct, which opened on 5 October 2022. This monumental structure is 296 m long and 28 m high. After taking in some wonderful views of the river, set off to explore the must-see sights of Château-Gontier.
Chammes route
This route will take you along the hedgerow paths between Sainte-Suzanne and Chammes.
The Table des Diables
Come and discover the architectural and heritage treasures offered by this route and the sunken paths! You will get a glimpse of the Grande Charnie Forest. Marked route "No. 29".
This route can be combined with the "Tour de Viviers" route to reach Torcé-Viviers-en-Charnie.
Between Erve and Charnie
This 8.9 km route (marked yellow, no. 28) is particularly suited to walkers and mountain bikers. It combines exploring local heritage and sunken paths, and offers a glimpse of the Grande Charnie Forest.

Come and discover the charming little paths north of Sainte-Suzanne. Along the way, you can visit the English camp (or Beugy camp) and enjoy a beautiful view of the Mayenne countryside.
