walking along lovely greenways and sunken lanes.

Worth a visit
Mounds of the ancient castle: situated on the edge of the cemetery, this feudal motte is 8 m high and 35 m in diameter. It formed part of an ancient medieval earthwork castle founded by Hamelin d’Anthenaise around 1080, which lost its military function during the Hundred Years’ War. The castle also included a bailey.
The Hune menhir: This menhir measures 5.60 metres and weighs approximately 36 tonnes. It bears witness to the presence of a settlement 2,000 years ago. Originally lying on the ground, it was the first centre of activity in Bazougers and was used as a grinding stone. The name ‘Hune’, of Celtic origin, means ‘raised’.
Saint-Victeur Church: The patron saint of this church was a4th-century bishop of Le Mans. The present building replaces an earlier one, first mentioned in 1097. Its plan is in the shape of a Latin cross and its style is transitional Romanesque. A crypt remains beneath the chancel, featuring a central pillar designed to support the vault.
Cotellerie Priory: Built between 1989 and 1994 in a austere, Romanesque-inspired architectural style, it is home to monks who follow the Rule of Saint Augustine. They have their own vegetable garden, a herd of cattle and beehives. Furthermore, the priory’s crypt is dedicated to the martyrs of the Revolution.

Hello,
A lovely route, rarely used by motor vehicles, and peaceful for walking.
It might be best to avoid it during rainy winters, or during or after periods of heavy rain, particularly the sunken path section.
