A lovely, easy and picturesque walk around the Vicoin: marked route no. 3. There are many points of interest along the route, including a playground and a leisure centre. There is a dangerous section 500 m along the D500 between the marker (4) and the marker (5). The road can be busy at weekends. Avoid with children.

Lake Haute Vilaine at La Chapelle-Erbrée
The Haute Vilaine Lake covers an area of 155 hectares and holds 8 million cubic metres of water, with a maximum depth of 13 metres.
Created in 1982, its purpose is to regulate winter floods on the Vilaine for Vitré and Rennes, located downstream.
Walking around the lake allows you to enjoy the lake and the forest paths.

Long loop between Mayenne and Fontaine-Daniel
Fontaine-Daniel, with its picturesque village and beautiful lake, is one of the best-known places in the Mayenne area, but there is only one busy road to get there and the hiking opportunities around it are limited. This route, which can be done by bike or on foot in a day, connects the town to the village via a greenway through the town of Mayenne, then crosses the rolling countryside of Saint-Georges-Buttavent. It also covers a large part of the Salair forest near Fontaine-Daniel. To shorten the route, you can skip Mayenne and start elsewhere to make a loop around Fontaine-Daniel.
