Park near Andouillé church.
(S/E) Take the GRP® Tour des Marches de Bretagne, marked in red and yellow. The hike starts on Chemin du Haut Bourg, next to the optician's shop. First follow the road, then continue straight ahead on a good path until you reach a small stream. Follow it on the right bank to quickly reach a crossroads. Turn right at the bottom of the descent to return to Vaugeois.
(1) Turn right, then left to cross the hamlet of Vaugeois. Then cross the D131 road and continue on to reach the River Ernée.
(2) Cross it using the stepping stones.
Be careful here: if the water level is too high, turn back and continue along the road.
After the river, turn left to pass in front of the Roc aux Loups equestrian centre. Then reach the four-way crossroads.
(3) Turn right, cross the hamlet of Les Hamardières and continue through the woods. Enjoy the view of Andouillé. Continue on, pass the houses of La Lande de Crennes and you will immediately come to another crossroads with a sign for the heath.
(4) Leave the road here and turn right onto the path, entering the woods. Make a zigzag turn, follow the tree hedge and, after descending some steps, you will arrive back at the Erdre River.
(5) Walk along the left bank. You will come to a hedge of trees before the water treatment plant. Turn left and follow this hedge, then go around the plant. You will come to a footbridge.
(6) Cross it, then turn left. Reach the pétanque court and cross the road to discover the park, its famous campsite and its animals. Continue through the park, then cross thesecond branch of the Ernée on another footbridge. Continue along the paths to reach the Allée des Îles crossroads.
(7) Take this road on the left, then turn left onto Rue du Docteur Jouis. Turn right towards the cemetery, walk along it and you will reach the crossroads with Rue Félix Jean Marchais.
(8) Turn onto it opposite, continue along it and you will come to Chemin du Haut Bourg. Continue along this path to return to the car park at Andouillé church (S/E).
