Around Genest-Saint-Isle

Departure from the Espace Roger Janvier car park.

(S/E) With your back to the car park, cross the street opposite, Chemin de Pinceloup, turning left then right, and go up Rue de l'Étang. At the end, turn right onto Route d'Olivet and continue to a fork in the road at a wayside cross.

PR® markings

(1) Leave the departmental road and take the path on the left until it joins the departmental road. Follow it on the left for 200 metres (the verges are wide) until you reach GAEC la Gautonnais.

(2) Leave the road and turn onto the path on the right. Follow it for 1.5 km until you reach the junction of the two PR® paths, just before the path, which may be slightly flooded. Walk along the adjacent field (stay close to the edge).

(3) At the PR® crossroads, take the left-hand path to the calvary that marks the bend in the road.
Here, you can shorten the walk by taking the path on the right to reach the point (6) without passing by the calvary.

(4) At the cross, turn immediately right onto the path that heads east towards La Mancellière.

(5) At the Mancellière crossroads, turn right, heading south, to return to the fork in the road from the outward journey.

(3) Turn left, heading due east, for about 200 metres.

(6) Turn right, heading south, towards La Clardière. The path forks ahead, towards La Bellangerie

(7) Cross Chemin de Pinceloup, go around La Bellangerie and continue straight ahead until you reach a road, Chemin de Réaulumière.

(8) Turn right and continue for about 100 metres, then turn left onto the path that runs alongside a small stream (well-maintained path). You will come to a bridge.

(9) Continue straight ahead, following the stream on your left. This path leads back to the car park on the right (S/E).
