The start is from the housing estate opposite the town hall, Rue d'Anjou.
(S/E) Opposite the town hall, follow Rue d'Anjou to the right. At the crossroads, turn left onto Rue Beausoleil. Walk to the end of the street and then take the path opposite. At the next crossroads, turn right to reach La Mayenne.
(1) Follow the towpath to the right and walk along the river on your left. After a long walk, you will reach the Fosse lock.
(2) Continue for about 1.2 km along the Mayenne, which curves sharply to the right.
(3) At the end of the curve, take thefirst path on the right and you will soon reach a place called Le Pressoir. Continue along a small road for about 300 m.
(4) Just before a high-voltage power line, turn left onto a grassy path. At the crossroads that immediately follows, turn left and continue straight ahead (west).
(5) Return to the tarmac road, continue along it and pass the hamlet of Coges on your right.
(6) At the crossroads (elevation 85), follow the D112 to the right. Pass the hamlet of La Paubelière on your left. At the next crossroads (high-voltage power line), turn left onto the small gravel road towards the hamlet of Le Grand Clocher.
(7) After about 250 m, at the end of a left-hand bend, leave the road and take a path on the right (not shown on the map). Walk along a stream on your right, cross a small stream and pass under the high-voltage power line. Further on, take a footbridge to cross the stream and walk along it on your left. At the end of the path, you will rejoin the D112.
(8) Cross the road carefully and take Chemin de L'Ecuellerie opposite. Just before a large building on the right-hand side, turn left and cross the housing estate to reach Rue d'Anjou (S/E).
