Marked route No. 83.This beautiful hike will take you through quite a few wooded areas, not to mention the famous spot known as Le Moulin Rouge.

A beautiful view lies ahead, with some uphill and downhill sections. Don’t miss the lovely views between points (3) and (4) and between points (6) and (7).

Marked hike No. 73. A beautiful hike around Louesme, crossing wooded areas such as the Bois de Beaurain, the Bois Barbet, the Bois de Bréau, the Bois de Pimelle and the Bois des Frins, not to mention the beautiful Étang d'Annebaude in its green setting.

This walk will allow you to explore the village of Villefranche with its narrow streets and church, as well as the two small lakes set in their beautiful green surroundings. Don’t forget to visit the highest point in Villefranche towards the end of the walk, where you can enjoy a stunning view between the (7) and the (8). Ideal for a family outing.

Marked hike No. 102. This little path, which smells of hazelnuts as Mireille sang, has more of a scent of hornbeam and humus in the undergrowth. It is very pleasant to discover the beautiful landscape with its pollarded trees and hedges that shade much of the route.

This family hike is historically very interesting. Between the shaded first part and the canal-side second part, the route has a total elevation gain of 28 metres, mainly at the beginning. In terms of history, from Henri IV to Charles de Freycinet, the size of boats has increased, imposing new standards. Today, we talk about the amount of water consumed that needs to be saved.

Marked hike N°71. A whole new way to discover the story of the construction of the Canal de Briare! With this hike you can follow a part of its water supply system and come back along the old route to the incredible monument that we today know as the Seven Locks.
