This walk will allow you to explore the village of Villefranche with its narrow streets and church, as well as the two small lakes set in their beautiful green surroundings. Don’t forget to visit the highest point in Villefranche towards the end of the walk, where you can enjoy a stunning view between the (7) and the (8). Ideal for a family outing.
The Sainte-Reine Chapel in Villiers-Saint-Benoît

This little path, which smells of hazelnuts as Mireille sang, has more of a scent of hornbeam and humus in the undergrowth. It is very pleasant to discover the beautiful landscape with its pollarded trees and hedges that shade much of the route.
The Pont Plat
This family hike is historically very interesting.
Between the shaded first part and the canal-side second part, the route has a total elevation gain of 28 metres, mainly at the beginning.
In terms of history, from Henri IV to Charles de Freycinet, the size of boats has increased, imposing new standards. Today, we talk about the amount of water consumed that needs to be saved.
