La balade Grandchampoise et la Bougauderie

The route starts in the church car park.

(S/E) Facing the church, head left along Place Saint Martin. Ignore the next three roads on the left (Rue Gaillard, Rue Neuve and Rue du Bignon). Continue straight on along Rue des Ponts Neufs, ignoring Ruelle du Four on the left just after. Continue straight on for about twenty metres.

(1) Cross to the right, then head straight ahead along Rue de la Vierge; shortly afterwards, turn right onto Rue Guy Leroy.

(2) Continue straight ahead, then opposite the church, turn left twice to head towards the castle. Take the next left and continue straight ahead to reach the D 950. Cross it carefully and head straight on until you reach the railway line.

(3) Continue straight up the D14, keeping well to the left-hand verge, and take the next path on the left which goes uphill. Continue to the next path on the right.

(4) Turn right and, a little further on, you’ll come to a cross-road. Turn right onto a wide track until you reach a road at the hamlet of La Latte.

(5) Turn left onto the road, ignoring a small turn-off to the right much further on towards the hamlet of Les Godets. Continue straight on, pass through the hamlet of Volvent and carry on to the junction.

(6) Turn left onto a path which, much further on, descends and joins a cross-country path. Head left, keeping the railway line on your right.

(7) Ignore the path on the left that goes uphill and continue straight on until you reach the D14.

(3) Cross it carefully and head right until you cross the railway line, then continue straight ahead to rejoin the D950. Cross it carefully and continue straight ahead. At the very end, turn right. Just opposite the church, take the small road on the right and then the next right onto Rue Guy le Roy for about 30 metres.

(2) Turn left towards the war memorial. Turn left, ignoring Rue Gaillard on the left just after it. Continue slightly to the left and return to the starting point (S/E).
