Description of the walk

The route starts at the car park by the Dicy wash house.

(S/E) Join the road and follow it to the left, heading south.

(1) Ignore a path on the left (this will be the return route) and turn right onto the road. Take thefirst road on the left towards Les Gogers. After just under a hundred metres, leave the road and take the path slightly to the left, which serves as a shortcut. Join the road again and follow it straight on for about a hundred metres.

(2) Take thefirst path on the right and walk westwards. Join a road and follow it to the right for about fifty metres.

(3) At the junction, turn left. At the Fork in the road, keep to the right and you’ll reach a few houses at a place called Les Grands Genets.

(4) Then turn right onto a path not shown on the map. Further on (elevation 178), turn left along the path. You’ll reach a road; follow it to the left. Pass through the hamlet of Les Dumands and ignore a road coming from the left.

(5) At the junction that appears shortly afterwards, turn left. Stay on the road until you reach a T-junction.

(6) Turn right, immediately ignoring a road on the right and another shortly afterwards on the left. Continue straight on and pass through the hamlet of Les Jubliers. Carry on along a path that veers slightly to the left through the woodland. Leave the woodland and you’ll soon reach a junction.

(7) Then veer slightly to the left (ignore the path leading down to the right). You’ll come to a small road; follow it to the right. At the T-junction, turn right and continue for about a hundred metres until you reach another T-junction.

(8) Turn left and walk slightly uphill to the next path on the left.

(9) Continue straight on until you reach the next path on the right, exploring the Verger Conservatoire as you go.
Turn round.

(9) Take the path on the right and immediately ignore a path branching off to the left. At the next junction (elevation 181), turn right (east).

(10) Take thefirst path on the left, keeping the Bois des Souches on your right. Join a road, follow it straight on for a few dozen metres and, when it bends to the left, take the path opposite. A little further on, pass under a high-voltage power line and head back down. Ignore a path coming from the right (marker 161) and continue downhill.

(11) You’ll come out onto a road; follow it to the left. Pass under the high-voltage power line again and reach the hamlet of Badelan. At the bend, leave the road and take the path on the left. This path soon turns right at a 90° angle and then enters the woodland. You’ll reach a road at a junction you passed at the start of the walk.

(1) Turn right and return to the starting point (S/E).
