La balade Dicycoise et les villes perdues

Park at the wash house, Rue de la Fabuloserie.

(S/E) Head due west for about 20 metres to the road. Cross the road and head right for 30 metres, then turn left onto Rue des Canes and continue to the D943.

(1) Cross it carefully and head up the hill opposite to the last houses. From there, follow the path until you reach a road. Turn left onto the road and follow it for about fifty metres. Take the path on the left, which leads to a road a little further on.

(2) Cross it and head right towards Les Pages. Shortly afterwards, ignore a path on the left and continue until you reach a crossroad. Cross it and head right. Take the next path on the left until you find a clearing on the right.

(3) Turn right and, 30 metres further on, join a path through the woods on the left-hand side. Continue straight on until you reach the edge of the woods. Continue straight on until you reach the last house on your right. Turn right and walk down a wide grassy strip for a few metres until you see a small tarmac road on your right. First turn right then left and walk down this road to reach the D943 at the bottom.

(4) Cross it with great care and head off to the right, keeping well to the left-hand verge for about a hundred metres. Take the small road on the left (Chemin du Pressoir) and follow it to a T-junction. Cross it and turn right until you reach the next path on the right.

(5) Ignore the path on the right. Continue straight ahead. Take the next path on the right which goes uphill. At the top, ignore the next path on the left. Continue straight ahead until you reach a road. Cross it and turn right onto the road. Shortly afterwards, pass through the hamlet of Les Jarrys. Continue straight ahead until the next path on the left.

(6) Continue straight on for about 100 metres and, as soon as the road bends to the left, take the path opposite which joins the previous road. Continue straight on for about 100 metres and take a road on the right. Ignore a path opposite about 150 metres further on. Follow the road to the left and return to the starting point (S/E).

Warning: this route involves crossing the D943 four times, only once at a pedestrian crossing.
