The Chêne-Arnoult walk and the Bois des Boulaies

The route starts in front of the church in Chêne-Arnoult.

(S/E) Turn left onto Rue de l’Église Notre-Dame and take the next path on the right, which leads to a road. Turn left onto this road until you reach a crossroad. Turn left until you reach the Fork in the road.

(1) Ignore the road branching off to the left; take the one on the right towards Plénoise. Cross this road on the right-hand side and continue to the next junction.

(2) Cross to the right and go up the small street opposite, which leads to a track 100 metres further on. Continue uphill until you reach the next street on the right. Ignore the road on the right towards Les Jarrys and carry on until you reach a crossroad.

(3) Turn left, ignoring a road on the right shortly afterwards. Carry on straight ahead and take the next path on the left. Shortly afterwards, begin a descent until you reach a path on the left.

(4) Continue slightly to the right. A little further on, ignore a track on the left and take the next one on the right, which climbs and joins a track on the left further up.

(5) Ignore this path and carry on straight ahead through a series of bends until you reach a road.
Turn left for 30 m, cross over and turn right onto the road until you come to a T-junction further on.

(6) Cross the road and turn right, ignoring the right-hand turn immediately afterwards, then carry on straight ahead to return to the starting point (S/E).
