La Garenne du Plessis

The route starts at the town hall car park beside the D18.

(S/E) Head towards the D18. Cross with care and keep to the right for a few metres, then take the^first street on the left, ignoring the path on the right shortly afterwards. Pass the church on your left, ignoring the street on the right, and continue along the street to the left until you reach the next path on the right. Take this path, which descends until it joins a road, then turn left.

(1) Shortly afterwards, leave the road heading off to the right and take the path opposite (not shown on the IGN map) for about 1 km; at the very end, continue along it to the left for a few metres until you reach the D18. Cross with care and take the path opposite that goes uphill, ignoring two paths on the left further on, and continue until you reach the next path on the right.

(2) Turn right and head towards the hamlet of Les Fleuris, where the track joins a road. Immediately ignore a track on the left and, shortly afterwards, the road on the right. Take the one on the left until you reach the next track on the left.

(3) Turn left, ignoring a path on the left and another on the right further on. Carry on straight ahead until you reach the next path on the right.

(4) Carry on straight ahead, ignoring a path further on to the left towards Les Frelats. Carry on straight ahead, ignoring another path to the left further on, and you’ll reach the D208.

(5) Cross the road and keep to the right, staying well on the left-hand verge. Much further on, ignore a road on the right heading towards Les Royers.

(6) Take the track on the left which slopes down slightly and carry on, passing the hamlet of Les Benoîts on your left a little further on. Continue to the next track on the left towards Le Plessis (elevation 165).

(7) Carry on straight ahead along the wide, sandy track until you reach the D18. Cross with great care and head right for a few metres until you reach the next track on the left.

(8) Turn left towards elevation 169. Ignore the road on the right and take the path opposite. Go through the gate. Continue through the woodland until you reach the exit.

(9) Turn 90° to the left, following the edge of the woodland on your left (not shown on the IGN map), until you reach the next path on the left.

(10) Continue slightly to the right until you reach the D208. Ignore the roads on the right and opposite; take the path on the left which climbs and joins a road.

(11) Turn right and, further on, reach a T-junction. Keep left, ignoring the road on the right a few metres further on, and shortly afterwards, as soon as the road bends to the left, take the lane on the right. Join Rue de l’Église. Head left and cross the D18 with care, then head right for a few metres to return to the starting point (S/E).
