The route starts at the foot of the bus shelter on Place Saint-Laurent.
(S/E) With your back to the bus shelter, head to the right, cross the Route de Chevillon and turn into Rue de Perreux opposite. Pass Rue des Sources on your right, then further on the path leading to the Château de Vienne and the one on the left as you continue along the road to reach Les Mardelles.
(1) Leave the road and turn onto Chemin des Mardelles. At the first Fork in the road, take the left-hand path and follow a cross-path.
(2) Turn sharply left (there is a ditch on the left as you go uphill). Pass the first turn-off and continue with the power line on your left. You will come out onto a tarmac road.
(3) Turn left. After walking for about 250 metres, turn right onto a hard-packed track. A row of fruit trees on your left will accompany you almost all the way until you cross the Ru de Saint-Laurent.
(4) In front of the fire reservoir, cross the road and turn right, then immediately left onto Allée des Richards.
(5) Opposite the road, turn onto the dirt track on the left. At the Fork in the road, take the left-hand path, which leads onto the road at the entrance to Malvrain (some sections are damp).
(6) Turn left onto the road and, about a hundred metres further on, turn right onto Chemin des Verriers. Ignore the next turn-off on the left and head towards the woodland. At the entrance, several signs prohibit entry to the private woodland; the path is open to the public.
(7) At the barrier across the path, turn left. Upon emerging into a meadow that is often marshy, head as straight ahead as possible towards the edge of the woodland, keeping as close as possible to the woodland on your right. When you reach the wire mesh fence, follow it, keeping it on your left. At the cross-path (not shown on the IGN map), turn left and continue, still following the wire fence, ignoring the turn-off towards the hamlet of Les Reverdis as you go. After this final junction, continue along this main path (the turn-offs, whether marked or not on the IGN map, are impassable).
(8) On emerging from the woods, turn left to join a bend in the road leading to the hamlets. Carry on straight ahead until you reach the Stop sign on the RD16 (with the water tower opposite).
(9) Cross this road with care and head straight ahead along the short tarmac section, then veer slightly to the left. At the foot of a pylon supporting the electricity network, carry on straight ahead, leaving the tarmac road on your left.
(10) At the cross-road, turn left. Head into the woodland, pass a turn-off on the right and reach a junction.
(11) Turn right into the poplar-lined lane to come out onto the small track leading to La Bissoterie. Take this track, continuing straight on without going as far as the cross-road.
(12) Turn left onto the path running alongside a ditch on your right.
(13) When you reach a large culvert, cross the ditch towards the mobile phone mast. Head towards the tarmac road to take Rue de Bezançon on the left and reach Place Saint-Laurent (S/E).
