This easy circular walk is a good way to discover differently the famous city of Stratford-upon-Avon walking historical streets and places. Then, you will use nice paths along the banks of the River Avon including Shakespeare's Avon Way.

This medieval market town needs no introduction as the birthplace of Shakespeare (he’s buried here too) and this trail will help you discover the key sites inked to England’s most famous playwright. Follow in the footsteps of the bard himself on an easy wander to explore just about everything Shakespeare related in Stratford-upon-Avon.

This route around Wellesbourne area is mostly on minor roads, some gravel tracks, and steep hills. However, you will get good Views.

Walk in the rolling hills of South Warwickshire, starting in Dalingscott. A small amount of minor road, then tracks and footpaths to reach Compton Scorpion Manor. More field path from the highest point down to Stretton on Fosse. There is interesting history of this village by the Roman Fosse Way. Returning via field paths and minor roads to Darlingscott. The walk can start close to Way Mark 7, the pub The Plough good eating place.

This popular linear trail starts at Stratford-upon-Avon Parkway station, and follows the canal towpath to the village of Wilmcote and Mary Arden’s Farm. A gentle wander along the banks of the Stratford- upon-Avon canal as far as Wilmcote, Shakespeare’s mother’s family home.

This pleasant walk in Warwickshire starts in Compton Verney car Park, and takes a footpath through a wood before reaching the historic village of Combrook. Follows a scenic route past Compton pools and then around Compton Verney House past Home Farm. At the crossroads, go straight towards Lighthorne before returning to Compton Verney.

Lovely walk in north Gloustershire from Hidcote Manor via Kiftscote Gardens, then Monacks Way, past Mickleton Hill Farm and returning via Diamond Way through Hidcote Boyce and back to Hidcote Manor. Occasionally, roe deer can be seen.
