The plague wall was built in 1720 to protect the Comtat Venaissin from the plague that was ravaging Marseille. This 27 km long dry stone wall was guarded day and night. Guard posts can be seen all along the wall. For 17 months, the plague did not cross this wall.

This is a very beautiful hike that will allow you to admire the Vaisonnais region as far as Montélimar to the north, the Dentelles de Montmirail and Saint-Amand to the south. And also, the giant Ventoux, ever-present.

Hike starting from the village of Beauvoisin, in the heart of Drôme Provençale, nestled in its magnificent mountain setting. The Baume Noire massif, the Linceuil and Taillade mountains, the Ventoux and the Baronnies will be your landmarks throughout your walk. You will cross no fewer than six passes to return to Beauvoisin. The breathtaking views over the long Costes ridge are sure to stay with you.

A hike between Montagne du Linceuil and Montagne de la Taillade. First through fruit trees, cherry and apricot trees and a few vineyards, you will leave this landscape behind to climb a more arid and stony path. From the Col de la Posterle, you will walk along a ridge where you can see the world around you for 300 km. In clear weather, those in the know will be able to recognise the Pic Saint-Loup. A lovely hike, partly in the shade and partly in the sun, with breathtaking 360° views of both Mont Ventoux and the Baronnies region from La Vanige to Chamousse. A steady climb through the woodland before emerging into the Provençal sunshine to the summit of Linceuil: do not confuse this with Linceul, as they are not the same place. A gentle descent will then take you back to the Col d'Ey.

A very beautiful and dynamic hike through the Véroncle Gorges and its four famous water mills. Climbing up these gorges, sometimes with the help of ladders or knotted ropes, is a real pleasure. The exit from the gorges leads to a sunny, stony plateau where you can take a well-deserved break. The return from Murs to Joucas via Notre-Dame du Salut will round off this original hike that you will certainly never forget.

Be prepared to visit the caves on all fours or even crawling, but it's worth the detour. A little dusty clay, a few harmless bats, but a magnificent sight once inside. So avoid wearing a suit and opt for less easily soiled clothing. The rest of the walk will offer you generous sunshine and all along the trail you can see the Combe Denca and the Luberon in the distance and even Sainte-Beaume. The hike takes you along small paths lined with holm oaks, thyme and rosemary.
