Park in the car park in the centre of the village of Rochebrune. Be careful with the starting route! The IGN map is not up to date, the route has changed, so follow the route as indicated here.
(S/E) Go up Rue André Raillard.
(1) Turn right onto Chemin de Pierre Feu, cross the bridge over the stream and go up to the right until you reach a narrow path on the left.
(2) Leave the forest road and take the narrow path opposite in the bend. Continue up this path and then, on the descent, rejoin the old route.
(3) Turn left and you will arrive at the bottom of the valley.
(4) Ford the pretty little Rieufrais stream over large stones and continue climbing to the wind turbine at Col de Sérriès. Cross the road junction and a few dozen metres further on, you will find a path on the left.
(5) Descend and follow this shaded path until you reach the Chemin du Villard forest road.
(6) Turn left onto this road, pass by and admire the majestic Rocher Florin and then the farm of the same name. Continue to the Col des Lantons.
(7) Continue straight on the forest road until you reach the Lantons crossroads.
(8) Take the small tarmac road to the left of the Lantons crossroads and follow it to Col de la Croix.
(9) Leave the road and take the path on the left. Descend to the Combebelle stream.
(10) Just before the stream, take the wooded path on the left and continue until you reach the start of the forest path you took on the way there.
(2) Take the sharp right turn and, following the route in reverse, return to the car park at the start in the centre of Rochebrune (S/E).
