Park behind the school bus shelter on the departmental road, just before you reach the town hall.
(S/E) On Chemin Rambaud, opposite the bus shelter, turn right towards the D523. Turn right towards Buis-les-Baronnies. At the cross, turn left onto Chemin de la Bastie. Climb up, staying on the PR® marked path. You will reach a three-way junction.
(1) Go up the forest road on the left, still on the PR®, until you reach a fork.
(2) Leave the PR® and head east on the wide path to the right towards Col de Milmandre. You will come to a forest road.
(3)Head left towards theGR®9 to find the Col de Milmandre.
(4) Continue left and stay on the GR®9 until you reach Col du Linceuil. Go past the pass by a few dozen metres.
(5) Turn left, heading due west. The wide path leads to Col de la Posterle, at an altitude of 897 metres.
(6) Leave the GR® and continue straight ahead, north-west, along the ridge. You will find light green markings that are very useful during the crossing. Continue towards the summit, at an altitude of 964 metres. Admire the landscape, then begin the descent, heading north, to an altitude of 880 metres.
(7) __Caution!__ Turn left, south-west, to find a pleasant little path that leads you to the Col des Moulins, still following the green markings.
(8) Cross the dry stream and, about ten metres further on, take the forest road on the right (north), continuing until you rejoin the PR®.
(9)Turn left at the hairpin bend and continue along the wide forest road. Keep to the left, ignoring the paths on your right. Climb up to Col de la Croix.
(10) Take the forest road downhill towards the village until you reach a path on the right.
(11) Leave the forest road and take this path through the woods, marked in blue, towards Château de Beauvoisin.
(12) Walk to the castle ruins, then turn back about thirty metres. Descend the blue-marked path towards Col de la Viare. __Be careful, the descent is narrow and very steep__. Cross the pomegranate field and rejoin the forest road at Col de la Viare.
(13) Take it to the left towards Beauvoisin and return to the bus shelter car park (S/E).
A very beautiful route with superb views. The only problem is the descent after visiting the castle, which is very difficult and requires great care.
