Park in one of the two car parks in Savoillan:
- either on the right after the bridge on the Chemin du Ventoux,
- or in the centre of the village near the Town Hall.
(S/E) From the Grande Rue, go up the large flight of steps to reach the yellow-marked path. Take it to the right and continue uphill. Then veer left onto the wider forest track. Follow the Torrent de la Sèpe and then cross it to reach the Roche Pourrie hairpin bend.
(1) Carry on along the track and then onto the path that follows it. You’ll then begin a series of hairpin bends to reach a crossroads of paths.
(2) Take the path on the right, following the hairpin bends along the beautiful mountain-side path. You will then join a wide forest track.
(3) Turn left onto it and follow the ridge line slightly above the valley. Following an almost level path, you’ll reach the Vallon des Parties junction.
(4) Turn left onto the stony track and begin the descent. At the Cabane Forestière du Mouflon, stop and admire the magnificent Toulourenc valley and the surrounding hills. Continue the winding descent to reach the Grand Ravin crossroads.
(5) Leave the road here and take the path on the left. Continue the descent to reach the Col de Tremalaud and its multi-directional junction.
(6) Take the wide path on the left to begin an easy climb along the mountainside. Further on, you’ll reach the Ravin des Parties.
(7) Continue along the path on the left and, after two wide hairpin bends, you’ll reach the summit of Pié Gu.
(8) Carry on to the left and, via a gentle descent, return to the crossroads where the paths meet, which you passed on the way out.
(2) Retrace your steps along the route you took on the way there to return to the village of Savoillan (S/E).
