Saint-Quirin is listed as one of the "most beautiful villages in France". A rich heritage of sanctuaries can be discovered in Saint-Quirin and in the parishes belonging to the priory, known as the Sept Roses route. Following this route, you will also pass by the Gallo-Roman site of Croix Guillaume.

Hilly route starting from the hamlet of Lettenbach, taking the Circulaire des Quatre Roches and the Circulaire du Vieux Château. Don't miss a visit to the Verriers Church in the hamlet, which houses the crystal rose (Route des 7 Roses, remarkable chapels and churches around Saint Quirin): Renaissance façade, bulbous bell tower topped with a golden cockerel and covered, like the roof, with larch and spruce shingles. Then explore the archaeological site of Croix Guillaume (habitats, necropolis and quarries).

The idea was to go for a walk with friends after two missed meet-ups due to the rain! So I decided to create a route for the occasion, starting from the place where I grew up.

A magnificent hike, with no major difficulties apart from access to the Grand Rougimont - the ruins of Turquestein Castle - the fairy rock and the boundary stone trail, which will take you back to the Middle Ages. This fairly easy walk takes you through hamlets and unusual spots in the parishes of Walscheid and Abreschwiller After the Roche du Diable, the route descends towards the hamlet of Nonnebourg, then leads to the Chapel of Pope Saint Leo IX (1002–1054), and on to the Saint-Léon-de-Walscheid grotto, where you can admire the view of the village below.

This moderate-difficulty hike takes you through the forest to discover Abreschwiller and its hamlet of Le Grand Soldat.After the climb to the Roche du Diable, the route descends towards the hamlet of Le Grand Soldat, where you can see the house of Alexandre Chatrian (1826–1890), a writer born in this hamlet, before climbing up to the Rocher du Calice.

A beautiful hike through the forest with some slightly wild passages and beautiful views of Rocher du Canceley and Grand Rommelstein.

A beautiful, undulating walk through woodland starting from Grand Soldat (a hamlet of Abreschiviller), the birthplace of the writer Alexandre Chatrian, better known by his pen name Erckermann-Chatrian. The route winds its way between majestic pink sandstone rocks, including the Calice, the Grand Rommelstein and the Canceley.Please note : this section of the Calice circular route is closed between 1 February and 31 July. A walk in the Vosges foothills, under the trees and with a beautiful view of Abreschviller. I wanted to revisit a walk I used to do regularly with my parents when I was a teenager. Unfortunately, the storm of 1999 took its toll and the path has been completely washed away in places. The Club Vosgien has redefined a new route from Saint-Léon. I preferred to go back 45 years and offer you my retro walk along the original path.

I had wanted to hike in this mountain range for a long time, and now I've done it! There were signs prohibiting passage on a previous route, but I didn't really know where to find them, so I set off on an adventure and ended up finding an "authorised passage". So, under a bright sun, I was able to access these iconic red sandstone rocks and enjoy the exceptional 360° view from the Grand Rougimont viewpoint over the Donon and the Lorraine plateau. For those who appreciate the iconic natural curiosities of the Northern Vosges, don't hesitate to visit the Trois Pierres and Petit Rougimont: they are well worth the detour in a magnificent forest setting!

Walscheid, a picturesque village at the gateway to the Vosges, is well worth a visit. There are many hiking trails, including this one, which takes in a wealth of attractions such as the Gallo-Roman cemetery, the ruins of Heidenschloss, the Durrenberg promontory and the Saint Léon cave.

An easy route around Hesse that follows the canal, then the Voie Verte and finally the irrigation channel on the way back. The first part is fairly straight but, from Hermelange onwards, it becomes more rural and natural.

A beautiful hike that will allow you to discover sites, rocks and landscapes between the slopes of the Zorn Valley.

Nice walk into the woodlands with a viewpoint over the Rocher du Hohwalsch. The viewpoint at the rocher du Hohwalschplatz gives you a nice view of the surroundings, even until the lake of Gondrexange.

A pleasant short walk suitable for the whole family around Wackenberg, with an elevation gain of less than 100 metres.

An easy and very quiet hike, mostly through the woods. A few viewpoints over the surrounding forests and the sandstone rocks shaped by erosion: Roche des Druides, Roches du Corbet and Roches d'Achiffet.
