This walk along paths and forest roads is shaded, very easy and suitable for children. It offers some beautiful rocks and a castle ruin (you have to use your imagination here). This circular route follows much of the same path on the way there and back.

Sparsbach: via Englishberg and Ochsenstall
A pleasant hike to stretch your legs. Ideal in early May when nature is waking up. Passes by an impressive rocky outcrop (beautiful view) and caves. Most of the walk is in the shade and the hike follows a river on the last part of the route. Also pleasant in the height of summer.

Circular loop of castles around Neuwiller-lès-Saverne
A beautiful hike that passes by Hunebourg Castle and the ruins of Herrenstein Castle. Lots of lovely views. The paths are very clean and well marked.

The Twelve Apostles Stone from Wingen-Sur-Moder
This hike, tested on 15/01/2022, takes us to the Pierre des Douze Apôtres (Breitenstein), marking the border between Alsace and Moselle. This stone dates back to the time of the Druids and was used for sacrifices before being gradually transformed by Christianisation.The hike follows forest paths through the forests of the Northern Vosges.

A fairly long hike, as some people like, with no significant elevation gain. It is nice in spring because the vegetation still lets the first rays of sunshine through, but it is accessible in all seasons and has a well-placed shelter for a dry lunch.There are no difficulties on the route except for the length!

A beautiful, undulating walk towards the chapel and spring at Bonne Fontaine, following the route of seven sandstone steles sculpted by Claude Metzmeyer from Saverne. On the way there, you will pass by the Rocher de la Bande Noire and, on the way back, by the Grotte des Amoureux.
Circular to Oberhof via Schiertorfelsen, Graufthal and Weyerstell fountain
This circular starting from Oberhof is not particularly difficult and allows you to discover some unusual places, including the cave dwellings of Grauthal and the Schiertorfelsen.
