Car park on the road leading to Thomastal, near the junction with the D133.
(S/E) Follow the Thomastal road for a few minutes to reach a path that climbs slightly to the left.
(1) Follow this gently sloping path which leads to the Grotte des Hussard and arrives at a three-way junction.
(2) Take the path on the right that descends slightly towards the north-west, still following the blue ring markings. After a steep climb, you will arrive at the Grotte des Hussards.
At the Grotte des Hussards, continue by taking the narrow path to the left of the cave, which climbs slightly. Follow the yellow triangle markings. The small path crosses a gravel forest road.
(3) Head left (north-west) to the crossroads located in a wide left-hand bend.
(4) In the bend, take the path that climbs slightly to the right (west-northwest). This path quickly leads to the paved forest road at Pottaschplatz.
(5) At the intersection of the path and the forest road, turn left (south) and descend towards the Oberhof forest house. Ignore the paths branching off to the right or left and continue to the path on the left just before the forest house.
(6) Take the path on your left (eastbound) that runs alongside the D133. It climbs slightly, overlooks the road on the right and offers a glimpse of the cliffs through the trees on the left before returning to the car park (S/E).
